Very fun disc. I got to borrow my buddy's for a full round and, even in gentle winds, this disc is quite manageable. I'd compare it to a Neutron Paradox and highly recommend it to beginners. If you're someone who likes very high turnover shots that won't burn over, this is your guy.

This is a great disc to have in the bag for beginner to intermediate players. I used to play 6 years ago and now that I came back to the game I had to relearn a lot of different throws and this has been a great disc to help. This thing is fun to throw hard because it will stay up no matter how hard I power this disc and with it being the right amount of under stable it makes up for my poor forehand abilities. If you put this on a hyzer angle it will hold straight and if you put it on a flat angle it'll hold straight and just slowly hook to a anhyzer. It feels great in the hand and this is a great go to disc for me and now all my friends want to take it out of my bag. No matter how you throw this it will fly really well.

The Flying Squirrel is an understable flying midrange from ABC Discs. The feel of this disc is comfortable in the hand, and the Gold plastic feels like other companies premium plastics (i.e. Champion). The flight of this disc is understable when thrown flat with any power. It was a nice disc for out of the box hyzer flips, but beyond that, it wasn't really a disc that I would find a lot of use for. Its just not stable enough to be versatile in my bag. If you want a disc to cover understable though, the Flying Squirrel might be what you're looking for.

Like many, I bought this disc cause of the amazing name.  I thought it would backhand really flippy and run really understable. However, it would always cut hard left for me compared to other similar mid ranges. I'm not sure if I got a weird one or not. In any case I would recommend it as more of a stable thrower at best.

I have two of these disc. Both I found on courses. This is disc is really good but it not in my regular bag that I play w everyday. It's hard to explain why but this disc is a good disc to have but there just never seems to be a shot on the course where I'd think "hey this is a good squirrel shot" if u get what I mean. When it comes to mid range I don't really like under stable discs but that's just me. It's kind of hard to give this disc a rating bc it's not a bad disc at all it's just not my go to.  If anything id use it for an anyzer approach but theres not a shot id chose to shoot this over my putter that I have. I would never use this disc for a hyzer just bc I have my roc3 for that and I'd never use this for a turnover bc I have my buzzz for that. So basically if u find ur self needing an anhyzer and need a little more distance than ur putter can give u then try this disc out. It reminds me of a beat in classic rock with more speed but still just not for me. Maybe someday I'll toss this disc in my regular rotation but for now I don't need it.

I just tested out the Flying Squirrel and it might be the best under-stable midrange I've used. If you throw backhand and want a disc to turn to the right, this is it. Just a slight anhyzer angle and this thing will turn and hold its line. This is probably also a great first driver for beginners. 5 Stars.
