The AGL Discs Beech is an overstable midrange disc with a double bead on it. It's also got a very unique angle from the flight plate down to the edge of the disc, giving you amazing grip when throwing it both forehand and backhand. With the flight numbers of 5/2/0/3 the Beech can definitely handle the power on those flex forehand shots, while still being a reliable overstable backhand mid. Some have called the Beech “the distance Bab”. Although it doesn't have as much glide as our other mid-range, it can if one is found with a little dome. Most of the Woodland models came out pretty flat, while the Alpine can have a little dome to them. We are very excited to bring to market a new mold that can be a great compliment to our current lineup. Enjoy that Beech life at AGL Discs!

The beech in both woodland and alpine plastic will be a typical overstable midrange. The feel of the beech is probably the most unusual thing about it. It is a very thick rim in your hand for being a 5 speed and feels really wide, the most unusual thing about it is the double bead on it. I think the double bead is what adds the stability to the disc. I find the beech to be a very workable and reliable midrange in AGL's lineup. It fits very well in the space that the other midranges do not fill and it can become anyones go to overstable midrange. For me I can trust it on a baby anhyzer to slowly fight out and finish pretty hard, if you throw it flat you will get a pushing overstable hyzer, and thrown on hyzer it likes to hyzer hard and find the ground. With the alpine you can get a lot of ground play but with the woodland it does not seem to skip quite as much. If you want to beat one in straighter the woodland is a great option and if you need something that stays true longer get yourself an alpine.
