The AGL Discs Locust, the newest fairway to our lineup, is a 9-Speed but is also an undercover distance driver. The Locust is quickly becoming one of AGL's best selling discs of all time. We are truly amazed at how FAR this disc flies, and it has been called the farthest flying disc in our lineup. This disc sports flight numbers of 9/4/-1/3 which makes this disc a very versatile fairway driver. The 4 Glide and -1 Turn mean this disc can stand up to some headwinds and still fly true. The Locust also provides that consistent and predictable left to right finish that can make all the difference when lining up a long drive. Whether you are looking for that perfectly placed drive, or just need more confidence in your throw; the Locust will be sure to take your distance game Above Ground Level.

The Locust definitely has some bite, but it's not Firebird level overstable. It's still very workable. Decent in headwinds and holds up well to torque from forehands. The Locust is actually decently glidey considering it's overstability. I'm not sure why it's listed as a distance driver since it's for sure a fairway. Regardless, the Locust is a great option in that overstable 9 speed slot.

One of the finest OS 9-speeds out there! I was expecting a Thunderbird, a little glide, strong fade. The locust has so much more PUSH than other 9 speeds, while still maintaining that stability. A lazer out of the hand, then a trustworthy fade near the end of the flight.

Instantly became my go to fairway driver (RHFH). I think the numbers are right on It has a nice straight flight with the tiniest but of turn and a nice crashing fade at the end.

Nice over-stable fairway driver. I have yet to see -1 turn even when ripping it flat but other than semi-inaccurate rating it is a 5 star!

The locust quickly took over my stable and overstable side of my fairway drivers. AGL calls it a distance driver and the distance you can get with it makes you want to agree but I consider 9 speeds to be fairways because of the control you get with them. The locust is exactly that, a fairway driver that you can control and manipulate to get far down the fairway. I absolutely love how the locust flies. Thrown flat you can get get the slight turn before it will slowly come out and have a consistent fade to finish the throw. When you rip on it hyzer the disc holds it with the slightest flip up to get more distance and will always finish on the hyzer angle you started it on. I really find throwing it on anhyzer is where this disc just finds a new gear. Thrown on anhyzer with some air and power you will get a huge s flight that will hold the anhyzer longer than you think, then it fights back but slowly enough to gain massive distance. I have four variations of the locust at different stages of wear and domeiness to give me all sorts of shot shapes. I find the locus to be a disc that most beginners will not enjoy or be able to utilize, but when you get into the intermediate skill level it will become the holy grail of fairway drivers. The locust really is a must have fairway drivers for people who like having a straight flight with a hard finish at the end.
