The AGL Discs Ponderosa is an understable, GLIDEY putter. The Ponderosa is perfect for beginners and veterans alike, as it really does take a lot of the work out of putting. The flight numbers which ring in at 3/4/-2/0 mean that this disc pops up and flies straight and long for slower arms, and it provides long arcing turn over shots for those with a bit more power. The glide on this disc is CRAZY and means that the ponderosa is also a great circle 2 putter. The Ponderosa is the least stable of the AGL putters with the others in the lineup each adding an additional level of fade. Whether you are new to the game or looking to add a new dimension to your short game, the Ponderosa will take your putts Above Ground Level.

4.5/5. Great understable throwing putter that will keep gliding for days. The woodland hemp blend feels soft and grippy; when it hits the chains or basket it will stick. Overall, a great putt and approach disc with a smooth release.

The Pondy is an understable putter that I just recently started bagging. It’s great as a throwing putter for short tee shots and for shorter upshots/approaches because it glides so well. It flies like a meteor-lite. I have an Alpine Hemp plastic Pondy and it grips hard when it hits chains. So, if you need a straight flying, anhyzer-able, chain banger you should definitely throw a Ponderosa!

I used this putter exclusively for an 18 hole league round. While I missed quite a few putts around 20-30 feet, it was because I'm used to a beaded putter with a little fade. The Ponderosa is definitely an understable putter with no fade. It has a smooth, beadless rim. So I simply wasn't used to the feel until half way through the round. I really like the grippy Hemp plastic for putters and feel like it would work well in cold or wet conditions.

I'd say it's a similar putter to discs like the Deputy or Fierce, and a decent choice for short tunnle shots. Great for beginners.
