It will help them achieve good distance and learn control. For the seasoned player, this will work great as a hyzer-flip disc or a turnover disc.

My Flight Ratings: 7/5/-2/2 Somewhat Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 300 Straight Score: Slightly Understable

I have the disc in Steady, Steady Ring and Tone Glow plastics. Steady is less domey than the other two, but I have loved all three. The disc has understability and pushes with distance but is very controllable. The stability does kick in at the end of the flight making the disc reliable and able to push out on the line you put it on. The tone glows just on the under ring of the disc but shines great. Plastic feels great all around.

I love my 7 speeds. The Centurion, Leopard3, Brave and Glory being my favorites and ones that are usually in my bag depending on the course I'm playing. I recently picked up the Wild Honey and Vanilla in Clash's beautiful Steady Ring plastic and was immpressed enough to give some of their other discs a shot. Next up was the Soda and Cookie, obviously in the Steady Ring plastic because consistency right? The Soda has a unique shaped rim compared to the other 7 speeds I usually throw. Where the Brave and Glory have more concave feeling rims, the Soda almost feels like it protrudes slightly. If you're familiar with Discraft's Heat or Innova's Roadrunner, you'll understand what I'm talking about here. This will definitely be a preference point for players but I enjoy the feel. The flight of the Soda is similar to Latitude's Brave - a nice amount of understability and turn and just enough fade to keep it from burning over. Both have a TON of glide and offer a surprising amount of distance when thrown with some power - my first throw with the Soda went 372 ft. and I don't really consider myself a distance thrower.
