The Daredevil Hellbender is an overstable putt and approach disc. This disc has similar flight numbers to the Grizzly, but has a feel more akin to a Zone. The Hellbender flies straight out of the hand and has a reliable fade at the end of the flight.

Early returns: Slightly longer, slightly less stable Zone-type disc. More of an A5 flight but they're all similar. Depends on the plastic too, of course. Razorbacks are the stiffest and a bit more OS than the others, Or at least they maintain their initial stability longest. Memphres are the flexiest premium blend (like very gummy champ) and quite possibly one of the greatest approach discs ever created. I even got one that's 186g. If I use it in a tourney, please don't tell anyone. Salamanders are a great middle ground between Razorbacks and Memphres. They're more like a soft Star. All Hellbenders mold up the same, all fly pretty much the same, just pick your poison with which plastic/type of shot you prefer. I have yet to try any of the base plastic blends but one day I shall.

I give the flight rating a 4/3.5/0/2.5 for all the plastics, in general. Plastic and wear matters though.

Initially I didn't think I would love the slightly slanted rim as my middle finger doesn't fit completely flush with the rim like it does on most other zone-type discs in a FH grip (I use a stacked grip), but it turns out that clean releases with this thing are just as easy, if not more easy, than a straight vertical rim wall. Got used to it very quick and releases are like butter.

I'm not throwing these things full power or BH much yet, but for under 200ft flick and sticks, this is an absolute gem for me, especially the flexy Memphres. I would use the Razorback more if I needed skips, but we don't have many skip shots around these parts.
