I bought the Woodchuck to have a dics that wouldnt roll away or have too much groundplay during risky putts. The woodchuck does that for me. I've also been using it on longer putts where I'm afraid to blow past the basket too far, and it has worked well for me. Also great when it is slippery or icy.

Writing this because most reviews of super soft putters don't pay as much attention to flight characteristics.

I love my Woodchucks, I use them inside/outside circle, dead straight approaches and increasingly off the tee. I find this disc more stable and trust worthy than the flight numbers suggest.  I'd say 2/3/0/-0.5. It will hold an anhyzer but I have to release it on that line rather than flipping it, at the speeds I throw it. Somehow a floppy putter doesn't naturally inspire confidence under power, but I've driven enough with this now that it is no longer so. It goes dead straight slow and floaty to 225 for me, and I'm an old guy with a 325' noodle arm. I trust it up to 75% power. If I need full power putter, over 250', have a strong headwind or have room to hyzer of course I will reach for my Tactic.  I find it reliable inside circle one in the wind, however. Many times in a practice round I have missed the headwind putt with a Tactic/Pig/Harp and run again and made the putt with a Woodchuck. The Woodchuck feels Aviar-like, is slightly less tall, which suits me, but is not super thin like a Chief or Tomb. It has a nice slightly concave wing to rest your index finger in. The gummy plastic does not affect getting consistently clean releases. When new, as with most guimy soft putters it will grab dust if you're playing in those environments. As it ages it is less super grippy dust grabbing but develops a nice patina while maintaining good grip. A dish soap bath restores it nicely. I have found them durable, contrary to popular belief.

Compared to other floppy putters I've tried extensively, the Woodchuck holds its shape in your hand way more than a Koi, (or Blowflys, which I have held but not used) and doesn't want to get nose down on a level full snap, putts straighter (for some reason Koi's go straight, but not straight at the pole, for me). Compared to an Alpas, it's nowhere near as flippy under power, not near as glidey. I still find the Woodchuck will get some roll aways, it's not magic in that way. The Interceptor is my long putt short approach hyzer flop disc, Woodchuck just doesn't do that. On a short hard snap forehand flex approach under a ceiling, it is prone to catching an edge and cut rolling, but it's great on softer lofty forehands or longer harder snaps with room to pan out, but I'm not a power forehand thrower.

I've tried sexier putters, and still love and bag a K1soft Berg, but I just keep coming back to Woodchucks.

I love the Woodchuck so much that I bought a 2nd one. Although it flies really well for hyzer putts, where this disc truly shines is the approach shot. Whether I'm 200 feet away and trying to nail a tight line or jump putting on a steep hill, I have complete confidence that the Woodchuck will not roll, slide, or skip. Made of the softest plastic I've ever seen, you can quite literally fold this disc in half and stick it in your pocket. This allows for cushioned landings that prevent the disc from rolling or skipping, even on the steepest of hills. Wherever you throw this disc it will land and stick to the landing spot like glue.

This disc flies just like you think it would. When it hits, it dies, no bouncing of the basket or skipping off the ground, it stays where it lands for the most part. A soft/flexible putter is pretty good to have in your bag, from my short experience. I hesitate to say this is a great disc for a beginner, but as long as you are aware of how to throw a floppy putter, you should be fine and might find this putter (or something similar) to be one of your favorite putters.

This disc is somewhat similar to a blowfly or a blunt gumputt except it isn't floppy in the hand and is traditional putter shaped. You can easily bend this disc in half  but it doesn't bend when you are gripping it and shaking it, which is what I didn't like about the other rubber discs. But it does like to stay put where it falls like the other discs. Living in Michigan with death putts and approaches all over, this disc is a true game changer for me and is used often. It flies like a dream. Slightly understable. Not a bad putting putter when danger calls. Falls,, stops, and doesn't roll away. I use this disc on every death putt and death approach, and some anny approaches just because. This disc truly has shaved strokes off my game. Awesome disc!

    Woodchuck = +5 Confidence Points
There are times in the aspiring disc golfer's learning curve when you start getting that deflated and defeated feeling. You've been doing so well, and you are learning to place your shots so that you can play for par... and then you get that sick roll-away. And then another. And your round, which you felt so good about? Bleh.
Enter the woodchuck. This thing will burrow away your score for you. Yes, the rumors are true, the woodchuck can be bent in half like the Gumbputt or the Blowfly, and yes, it will die on impact, kind of like if you run over a woodchuck with your car. Feel free to spike-hyzer onto a hillside, this thing flops over... if anything, I'd have named this thing the Opossum due to its tendency to play dead. I got this because I thought it would be a useful understable putter I could put on an anny line but not stray too far. Instead, it's my go-to uphill approach putter, and my favorite C2 putter. I'm sure there's a reason why you don't see pros using this sort of disc, but at the same time, pros aren't looking for recommendations on discs here, but newbs and intermediates are. This is easily the most used disc in my bag and has been since I got it in June.

I bought this disc intending for it to be an understable approach/tough tree to get around disc, but it turns out it has very low turn. If you want a putter that turns more, get the Beetle or Ruby from Latitude 64.

Once I accepted it does not have the flight characteristics I intended, it has become one of my favorite discs. I huck it hard for long straight approach shots and it si my most consistently straight flying shot. Couple this with how amazingly soft and grippy the plastic is, it is the best straight line woods disc. When it hits a tree, it folds in half to absorb all the force and falls straight down. No more crazy ricochets to bad scrambles.

Its too grippy to be used as a putter for me, but for those who want very grippy and don't mind the flexible wobble that this disc has, you can certainly use it.

This is the softest disc I have ever picked up.  I use it specifically around hard greens, or where the pin is on top of, or on the side of a hill, and you need a disc to stop.  I mean STOP LOL.

I don't use it for longer midrange shots, only short upshots where you have to stop.  It's not my favorite putter, as I find the extreme softness of the disc not especially accurate.

I highly recommend you have this disc for those treacherous short shots that could roll away from the pin.  This baby won't.

One of the most stable putters on the market, will fly straight and far for you on long putts. So aim right at the chains and let it fly.

Another great disc from this underrated brand. It flies beautifully straight and just keeps going. It also holds great anny lines. It will turn and burn if you aren't careful though. The plastic that is made with will just hit and stick. No chance of roll aways. I use this disc for three things shorter downhill shots, short anny upshots and any shot where a roll away could really mess up your score.

Great utility disc. Very straight flying and soft upshot disc. I use this mainly as an upshot from 275ft or less. Surprisingly good in wind conditions. Less floppy than a blowfly but softer than gstar.

My Woodchuck is an older model Grip Flex Performance blend plastic, and this disc has saved me so many strokes. This disc is a game changer. The plastic is so soft that it just plops and stays put. The newer model Elastic Performance Woodchucks are a little bit stiffer and not quite as soft as the original Woodchuck mold. I think the older model is also a bit more stable in flight.

Any time I have an approach shot by a body of water, hill or OB, I throw the Woodchuck because I know it's not going to skip or roll. I also use this disc for putts in the above mentioned "dangerous situations." This grippy blend will stick to the side of hills and even trees.

The Daredevil Woodchuck is so floppy that I struggle to drive with it, I have a tendency to throw it into the ground with a power grip. But with a fan grip for anything inside of about 100 feet when there is a danger nearby, I throw the Woodchuck.  In my opinion, everyone should have a super soft floppy putter. The only plastics comparable are DGA Signature Line (Blowfly and Gumpbutt) and Vibram Soft. Personally I don't like the feel of the DGA Signature line discs, and even though they are ridiculously soft, they still tend to roll once in a while. The most comparable discs to the Woodchuck are the Vibram Soft Summit and Ridge.
