The all new DGA Steady is a superior putt and approach disc that pays homage to "Steady" Ed Headrick, the founder of Disc Golf. Headrick was known as "Steady" because of his steady hand and consistent putting ability.

This is a beaded putter that has a hyzer finish at slow speeds. It also has a relatively straight flight path when thrown with some power.

    IN COMPARISON TO SSS WIZARD

I've been using the same SSS Wizard 174g for a couple years now and wanted to test out other putters with the same flight ratings just to see. With the Steady DL, I love the grip (somewhat similar feel to a SSS Wizard). The bead feels very comfortable in hand. The fade is right on with the wizard as well. Not drastic but right on the numbers. Unsure if the DL plastic will hold up as well as my wizard but time will tell. The biggest difference I have found is that the Steady has a bit more glide than in the numbers and compared to the wizard. I like to putt with a little hyzer and the Steady did that for me. Overall, the Steady is a great putt and approach that has a spot in my bag.

This is the most consistent putter I use in my bag. 15-feet in, always using it. I do find myself struggling a little bit with getting a lot of power/speed out of it but the numbers are true with its flight. Plastic is nice and soft and helps make those chain and basket hits die straight down.

This disc works for smaller than large hands. It is not too deep of a rim but not too shallow either. This disc is more overstable as a putter so you either need to adjust your aim or your release angle to make this disc work. It is great for hyzer putting as that is how it flys.I found it easier to grip than normal which is what I would recommend for smaller hands.

the steady is a great putter.  it feels a lot like a challenger with a big bead.  its slightly less stable as a challenger.  the steady has great glide and its dead straight even if you put power on it.  the steady feels good in the hand. i have big hands so if you have small hands you might not like it. i love the steady and i bag 2

I like the shape of the Steady, it is a big thick disc that feels good for for the fan grip I use when holding a putter, but I don't like the the plastic, it doesn't have enough grip for me to feel good putting control. I hold putters with a very loose feel, and rely in some tackiness to get spin on the disc as I release with my push putt. The grip of my 170g Blue steady just isn't up to par for me, and unfortunately this putter caused me to get a few too many pars when I should have had birdies.

As an approach and driving putter, I was impressed with how straight the Steady actually was. Witht the big bead and hefty feel, I assumed it would have a pretty healthy end of flight fade but it doesn't. The fade of the Steady is very gradual and floaty. The Steady is taller than what I prefer for a driving putter, but I really didn't have any issues with the shape or flight of this disc. As a driving putter, I would prefer a more durable plastic grade. Overall, the Steady is a fair putter, and there are a lot of people who will like it. For me, I'm just not a big fan of the plastic blend.
