As a RHBH player with no forehand, I find the Baseline Genius to be a disc that offers a lot of utility. It is excellent for uphill shots, especially those which turn to the right. It is also great for turnover shots, and hyzerflips for distance and snaking through gaps. When thrown with power, it is one of the best-feeling discs on-release that I own, seeming to zoom out of the hand faster than other "Speed 7" discs.

I throw the disc around 300 when trying to get controlled distance out of it on a staight hyzer-flip, and it has tended to get some turn right before fading left and returning about straight ahead of the initial release. I haven't had problems with it being too understable.

With so many great fairway driver options out there from different manufacturers, it's nice to find a disc with unique enough characteristics to fill a special niche in the bag. The Genius is definitely one such disc for me.

Recommend this disc to a lot of beginners that have gotten their foot in the door disc golf wise. I love it because it's very understable. Keep in mind I throw 330ish. I love this for longer turnovers where I can just hyzerflip it and let it ride out to the right. The premium plastic is slightly more stable but doesn't make too much of a huge difference unless I try to hyzerflip and put on too much hyzer. Besides that it does it's job all of the time. If you need a roller or great flippy beginner driver, this is the one you'll need.

    Durability 0

once this thing hits one tree its flips over so much that its hard to even throw a roller and becomes a true utility disc! insanely understable

The first month thrown is a blast throwing hyzer flips after that its the "hey try this disc to get laughs!!!"

I did not like the Genius because it was not that understable when I threw it hyzer, it just stayed until it hit the ground. I thought this disc would come back straight like my 150g diamond but it turned out to be like a stable disc. So that's why I did not like the Genius

I think this disc is faster than a 7.  I have several under stable 7's that turn over, but this one does not and starts low speed fade earlier than I would have thought.  That said, it does have a place in the bag for an Anhyzer-S shot.

Just picked up a base plastic Genius. I've only thrown a few times, but like it. Def US. Lots of turn and little fade. I'm not a very powerful thrower yet, so it works well for me.

This is a great disc to have in your bag. It is very inexpensive but still has a nice flight. It is my go-to driver over water if I don't have confidence I can make it. Also a great disc for practicing rollers. This one seems to sell out quickly, pick up a few if you can.

In baseline it beats in quick. The plastic feels good, but if you're throwing it in the woods or on a rocky course, it's going to take damage fast.

Great disc to learn how to hyzer flip.

Great for a 100% backhand player trying to simulate a forehand shot.

It can work as a mid on an anny line, too.

Beaten in, it's flippy enough to depend on it to be flippy. Not sure if that makes sense.

This is a great beginner disc to advanced disc. Right out of the box a beginner arm will be able to throw this and get some distance and still have it hyzer thrown flat. An intermediate arm will see it get some immediate early turn and then slight fade back. And an advanced arm will have this going straight to anhyzer.  If you put a bit of turn on it it will become a great turn over disc and just glide forever. As  it beats in it obviously will get much more turn. There is a serious amount of glide with this disc. I would say it is similar to the Discraft Heat. If you are a beginner to intermediate and looking for extra distance this would be a great option. As time goes on and you beat it in and gain strength it would be your straight to roller disc but thrown with a lot of hyzer this disc will easy hyzer flip. I like to use even from a standstill with less power on a hyzer because it can do some serious snaking around obstacles. I like the Active line plastic. It is more firm and durable then DX and Discraft X line but not overly firm. If you dont have a forehand this is a great backhand disc to use in replace of throwing a forehand.

I do recommend those discs to everyone who likes disc golf.Great that Discmania and Yukun disc golf took they are hands together and made those mold, now i have to try out the rest.and i think they will be very similar.Great discs.
