Dome. The active premium is super domey. Almost uncomfortably domey for me. Plastic was pretty slick. It just felt pretty odd. Flight wise it was pretty straight and not as glidey as that dome would suggest. Not terrible for the price. Not something I'd want to throw again though.

This thing is super domey. Way domier than I expected for a 4 glide disc. It also doesn't fly like a 4 glide disc and it has a good bit of turn over every time I throw it. Forehand, backhand doesn't matter. All in all it wasn't the disc I was expecting to get when I order it, but that being said I really like this disc and it is a welcome addition to my bag. The premium active plastic looks and feels fantastic as well and the blue one I ordered has a great color to it.

Typically I don't see much turn, if ANY, when I throw discs with 0 turn, but this magician, well, it's some kind of magic. It has a reliable turn and then a reliable fade. It has a lot more movement in the flight than i expected, and it's super domey. But it has found a place in my bag, I just always think twice before throwing it because of the unusual flight lines the magician finds.

I bought this about a year ago to replace a roadrunner I lost and it never really found a spot in my bag until more recently this year when I thought it would still fit the straight/stable archetype disc I was looking for on tunnel shots. However, to my dismay, I discovered that somehow within the past year (whether due to changes in my form, or occasional beating in), this thing turned into an immediate flipper for me. I still reach for it every once in a while when I need a right finish, but it has become far too touchy for me to rely on if there's ever any wind or if the line isn't perfect for it. I'm also not the biggest fan of its rim as it gets stuck to my fingers sometimes because I do think it's a little small to put a full power grip on. Probably better for lower arm speeds, or anyone that can put a little more finesse on their flip shots, just not my favorite. I liked a beat in roadrunner much more for the consistent flips/turns.

This disc is incredibly easy to throw, fits in the hand very nicely. It has a very reliable fade at the end of the flight no matter how hard you throw it. Forehand shots tend to flip up, but backhand shots generally stay on hyzer if you put it on that angle. Overall a very solid disc that can be used in almost every situation.
