One of the best mids ever made, hands down! This disc is truly ultra straight and one of the few discs that is the embodiment of "goes on whatever line you put it on". No matter your power or skill, this disc will be just perfect. I have found that the MD1 fits in anyone's bag, as the straight midrange. Even for power throwers, it's just excellent. It might flip up a little bit and drift, but it seems completely unable to burn over. (Unless you put it on a lot of anny and have a ton of OAT). It also evidently has essentially no fade. I'll note that the Simon Mind Bender is a little bit more understable, but this just means that it will fit perfectly fit with an MD1 in a different plastic.

The Md1 tought me touch, it is very compariable to a Mako3, it just flys on whatever angle you put it on, on hyzer it flips up and gentaly drifts to the right. It and will remane a staple in my bag for time to come.

My favorite disc to throw by far! Thrown with speed with get a small turn and fade. Thrown a bit softer this disc will go dead straight forever! This thing has glide for days. I recommend this disc to anyone who plays disc golf!

Very neutral discs.  If your looking for a disc that goes straight on a flat release, this is the one.  Whatever the release, the disc will accept and make that flight.  Slight anhyzer release...slight anhyzer flight.  Slight hyzer release...slight fade fade at the end of flight.  If you power the disc beyond it's 4 speed, it will turn for you as well.  With all the hype, I thought I would try the disc out, made the bag immediately and displaced the Mako3.

Quite possibly the best disc I have ever thrown. Feels amazing in my hand. Releases smooth. Flies perfectly straight or on whatever angle you put it on. I have amazed myself with this disc and feel like a pro with some of the lines I have been able to achieve. Off the tee I can get it out farther than just about any other midrange I own (except maybe something really understable) I have many near aces on shorter holes as well as throw in from up shots. First throw out of the box was from over 100 feet on a slight hyzer, nothing but chains. I'm not sure I have had any really bad throws with this disc as leaves my hand nicely again and again. Haven't thrown it many times but thinking about picking up a spare. I have both a Z line Buzzz and an Star Mako 3. The Buzz is a bit more stable than the Mindbender and the Mako 3 is a little more understable. Less fade in my opinion. practically 0 often times.

The Discmania MD1 is an amazing midrange for any skill level and you should try this disc if you are looking to replace your straight flying mid. The MD1 was a little straighter for me than the flight numbers suggested, I felt like when throwing flat i got a slight flip up with a very small fade at the end of the flight. It flew amazing on a hyzer release and held the angle that I put it on the whole way. On anhyzer I could trust a nice gradual panning motion the whole flight without much worry that it would cutroll or turn into a roller. I can totally see why Simon wanted this to be his signature series disc, all levels up to even pros will have this disc in their bag and will throw it all over the course. The new signature metal flake C-line plastic felt better than innova metal flake.
