The P3x has been re-approved by Discmania as of Nov 9, 2023. Fans can have it back in the bag, and newcomers to the Discmania Originals line can have their beaded putter they've been wanting.

The P3x is a flat, overstable, beaded putter. In the hand, it feels like an Aviar3 with a bead. This putt/approach mold is great for shorter wind penetrating shots. Try a P3x if you want your upshot to have a consistent fading finish.

This disc feels great in the hand, flies straight, and has a slight finish. Thrown on anny it will fight out very slowly. I leverage it instead of the zone/toro when I want glide with a foward pushing flight.

Similar flight to an Opto Pure, Champion Invader

Slightly less stable than premium Aviarx3, Zone, Toro

    Disc - 175 S-Line P3x

Feel - The P3x is a fairly deep, beaded putter. It fits nicely in my hand for both putting and throwing, but I do not putt with this disc. It fits nicely for both power grip and control grip and S-Line plastic is very durable and provides great grip.

Flight - The P3x is a fairly overstable putt and approach disc. The P3x is fairly glidey and gets good distance for a putter. You can throw this disc nearly as hard as you want without worrying about it flipping over. It has great resistance to turn but the fade is not overwhelming. I really enjoy cycling this disc in my bag for my throwing putters.

Overall - The P3x is a great throwing putter that I would recommend to many players that are looking for a throwing putter that they can trust in some wind and rely on to throw as hard as they like and get some great flights out of.

In S-Line the P3x is useful for approach shots and off the tee on short holes. Flies similar to an overstable mid off the tee. Approach shots sit nicely and the fade is intuitive. It's a disc I throw multiple times every round.

I throw the P3x in S-line and in D-line plastic.

I bought it in D-line plastic to compare it to my go-to putter for both driving and putting which would be the Axiom Electron Envy. The P3x felt good in my hands (smaller hands). I would say it feels like a putter version of the MD3, which I guess it's fair to say it is.

It's overstable enough to get a little fade in the end, but it's not stupidly overstable. on a 90-100m throw it goes straight all the way without any extra turn.

The D-line P3x got a little slippery on me in cold weather, causing me to pre-release a lot, so I bought myself a P3x First Run in S-line plastic. Got to say I love the disc for driving, and it's not bad for putting either. It replaces my Envy for most putter shots where I need a slight fade.

I purchased this after losing my Aviarx3 to a water hazard.  That thing was by far the best driving and approach putter I have ever used.  I have slowly been converting my bad over to discmania and Thought this would be a replacement for the AviarX3 I lost but its not at all.

The Px3 flight numbers advertised are way off.  It has more glide than expected and flies dead straight with a small amount of fade at the end of the flight.  I expected this to be as stable as the AviarX3 but it isn't.  Thrown on Anhyzer it doesn't really flex back like the AviarX3 will if you give it enough air.  Instead the P3x just comes to a soft landing.  I don't see myself using this for forehand approaches either since it isn't as stable as the AviarX3.

I will keep this in my bag for straight drives off the tee inside 225-250 ft.  As someone said before this is like a slower MD3.  For a dependable straight putter drive or approach this is perfect.  Just wasn't what i expected at all.  I will however be purchasing a new AviarX3 for my overstable putt and approach needs.

All that to be said it is still a great putt and approach disc I think any skill level could use.

This is my favorite disc that is in my bag.  I can push my 166g s-line p3x 300 in an almost perfect straight line yet still shallow enough for my 1 finger flick touch approach shots.  On short (<300) courses I grab my p3x and an aviar, thats it.

The Discmania P3x is a phenomenal disc. It can handle an extreme amount of torque off the tee, making it one of the best driver putters in the game, forehand or backhand. It has a bead on it, but the slim profile makes it comfortable to forehand or backhand regardless. The S-Line plastic holds up pretty well, and the disc will hold its stability pretty well. The putter shrugs off wind very well, further increasing its use and it's reliable even in severe weather conditions. If you've been looking for an overstable driver putter that you can really trust and mash on for driving off the tee and still be able to use it for consistent, touch approaches then this is absolutely the right disc for you.

I got this because I was looking for an overstable throwing putter. It's a straight flying putter but it's not nearly as overstable as the numbers would suggest. If I release it flat and throw it with some power then it will turn on me...I have to throw it on a hyzer for it to not turn on me.

Bottom line is it's not a bad disc but I prefer very overstable discs and this was just not stable enough for my preference.

I have a First Run S-line P3x and have at this time played 18 holes with it. I used it as my primary short upshot disc  (between 150 and 90 feet). I love this disc......backhand. I bought it thinking that I could use it forehand as well, but due to a combination of my mediocre release and the disc's deep rim I have not been able to cleanly deliver a forehand shot with it. That said, the profile of the disc is very comfortable in my hand, the bead sits very nicely, and it flies predictably.  I would not call it "very overstable". It's quite stable and will fight to flat on an anhyzer release, and flex a bit given enough height. I found that I could place it accurately on the green and it earned my confidence from the first throw. I do wish that it came in either c-line or d-line plastic, because I don't like the s-line as much for tbis type of disc, but it flies and throws beautifully as is. It will definitely stay in my bag, but I will still need to pick up an overstable forehand approach putter.

I really didn't like the P3X at all. The disc is perfectly flat on top, and I generally love flat discs and feel that I have more control with them compared with domey discs. I think the rim of the P3X is just too deep to feel comfortable for me. When gripping the disc, it just never felt like I had control and I really struggled to throw it where I wanted it to go.

A putter this overstable is usually designed as more of a short drive and approach disc than a putting putter, and I definitely didn't like the P3x in star plastic for putting. Not only is it too overstable for long putts, but Star plastic is just too slippery for me to get a consistent release. Perhaps in a different plastic this disc would be a good wind putter.

As a driving putter, the one thing this disc is good at is not going too far. I'd say Innova's '2' glide rating on this one is pretty accurate as this disc doesn't glide much. This disc is Overstable for a putter, but I'm not sure I'd give it quite a 3 fade. With as overstable as it is, I thought that I'd be able to successfully use it for forehand throws, but whether it be the ultra deep rim or just not enough high speed stability the P3X failed on my every time I tried flicking it.

If you like deep rimmed flat putt and approach discs, you'll probably like the P3X, but this disc is not for me and I likely will never throw it again.

The Discmania P3x was a fun disc to throw around yesterday. I have heard several people say that the P3x is just the Aviar3 with a bead, which is pretty accurate, and also it is pretty awesome for those of us who love beaded discs. The Zone/Jokeri/Harp category of discs have become a very well used and useful grouping of approach discs, and it is nice to have a beaded one now to add to the disc golf world. That being said, the P3x is overstable, but not as overstable as most of the discs in this category. It wants to fly straight at first, but then it does have a reliable finishing fade that is easy to predict after a few throws. In all honesty, it flies a lot like I wanted the S-Line P2 to fly for me. Everyone told me it was a nice overstable driving putter, but I was expecting it to be more overstable. Well, the P3x is the answer.

The P3x is an overstable driving putter that feels like a beaded Aviar3.  The disc is stable but not enough in my opinion.  It is definitely not a bad disc but doesn't stand a chance to kick the Harps out of my bag.  If you like the Aviar3 but want something slightly more stable or just want a bead, this is what you are looking for.

The P3X is a driving putter, or an approach disc. Though folks with a strong putting style who like overstable putters (or for putting into the wind) it may work fine, I feel like the P3X is primarily designed to throw.

I threw the P3X in S-Line plastic many times and was able to get very predictable flight paths and great accuracy within the 200 foot range. It is very much like an AVIAR3 with a flat top and an added bead. It it a beaded disc for those who like the feel and flight of both the Aviar3, or the Harp (the profile is quite similar to a Harp), and it will work for control forehand flicks just as well.

If you're a fan of throwing putters either off the tee, or for slower-speed approach shots, you'll love the P3X.

This putter is a great overstable throwing putter. With a flat top and low profile, it feels very similar to the Innova Aviar3. Since it has a bead, it fades very consistently, even in the wind. I was able to get a nice straight to fading flight out of it forehand and backhand. The P3x seems to be more for approaching the basket versus putting in the circle. I'd say this mold is a great addition to Discmania's putter line up.
