The Discmania Tailor is a workhorse midrange that you'll need several of. It's straight as an arrow with a touch of fade for dependability. The disc has a slight dome to it that makes for incredible glide, and it has a smooth, beadless hand feel that makes for confident shots backhand or forehand.

I am a month in to beginning disc golf and throw 99% forehand, my max is 240' so far. Now you know I'm a newb, to the review!

Yeah, it's made in China. But Yikun knows how to mold a nice disc! This is an easy to throw, straight midrange in a fantastic champ-style tough polymer. This throws for me like a slower, more forgiving Mako3, with a "park-it" fade. It's easier to get the Tailor to flip and then come back by overpowering, Mako3 just cuts left and rolls for me if I try to power it, far more often than catching good air. This is a gem, sleeper, get two now! I have a 172 gram in blue that I can get out to 200' with a nice flat landing using a low-effort sidearm. It will hold a straight laser line, or if you can power it and turn it, it will still end up mostly where you were aiming, and put on a little s-curve show. Keeps me out of the woods and lowers my score. Absolutely laughs at the hardest tree and brick wall hits, very durable. I'm happy when a hard bounce off a pine trunk keeps me on the fairway!  This disc isn't as flat as some really comfortable and effective sidearm discs like Rat, Invader, Animal, Pig, Aviar3, etc, but I can flick the crap out of this one. The closest disc I can compare this to is actually the Innova Atlas. Not quite as fast or long but just as easy to get straight, good air with, more control with that same baby park-it fade.

This disc is a hidden gem. Super simple like it's numbers. Feels great in hand. Goes where you aim it and it's very easy to throw. It has the tiniest bit of fade at the end. I'm really glad I took a chance on it. Staying in my bag for sure.

I don't have any discs with identical flight numbers to the Tailor, but using some other 4/5 speeds with with similar to slightly higher stability to do some comparisons, I'd say the numbers seem about right. The feel of the disc is very similar to my 5/5/0/2 Zheng (one of my favorite mids), except with a tad more dome to it -- which I would normally expect to enhance the glide a bit, but it definitely doesn't yield as much distance as the Zheng; so the lower glide seems appropriate. The active premium plastic feels and looks good; hopefully it proves itself in the durability department like similiar Champion-grade plastics.I think beginners will do fine with a Tailor, though if they're looking to get a bit more distance from their midgrade throws, they might prefer one with a bit more glide, and perhaps a little less stability.

One of the best throwing 4 speeds.  It's takes straight stable mid-range slot in my bag.

Very consistant flight for whatever level of power you employ.  Will hold the angle you put it on and push forward

One of the most overlooked discs on the market. Super straight and very torque resistant, it will hold whatever line you put it on. Slight hyzer it will go dead straight, more hyzer it will flip up some but hold hyzer the whole flight, and anhyzer shots will turn without dumping and pan to flat. Great for tunnel shots and downhill shots, and it bombs if you have the arm, I parked a 360' water carry hole with it on a bet. One of my favorite discs, and it's cheap.

This disc is a great mid. Hit my first ever ace with it recently. Feels wonderful in hand, and the plastic is pretty awesome! Great for a small turnover shot or dead straight when you have a little power.

This is a great thrower. I'm a fan of the mold and the active plastic. Bagged my first ace with one on a nice gentle flex line. It definitely deserves a bit more attention.

It's a Discmania Buzzz. It feels like a Buzzz and it flies like a Buzzz. If you love the Buzzz then you're probably already bagging it. If you don't love the Buzzz then this isn't for you. This disc is for those people who love Buzzzes but only want to bag Discmania discs, I guess? Straight, stable flight w hen thrown flat, with moderate finish.
