The Terminator is a new gem in the Discraft lineup. I bought one just to add to the collection, not necessarily to bag, but my first throw with it completely changed my mind. I expected a complete beefcake, and while it is certainly stable, it has that beautiful, pushy stability that won't just dump out on you. My first throw was released on hyzer, and while it pushed left the entire way, it still carried to around 400'. The new Z blend that Discraft has been working on feels amazing in the hand. It's much closer to an Innova-made plastic and diverges from the classic Z plastics that don't get along with everyone. Despite being slightly larger than the Destroyer, it feels just as comfortable in the hand and has very similar flight characteristics. I'd even describe the stock Z Terminators as a slightly beat-in Destroyer (depending on Destroyer run and plastic, of course). 

The Terminator is not going to be a max-distance driver for beginner or intermediate players; it can still fill the overstable, skippy driver role that everyone needs in their bag. Rarely do you see a disc combine distance, stability, and accuracy as well as the new Terminator does. I'm very excited to see how new plastic variations behave. I'm not surpirsed McBeth already bags five or six of these. 

The Discraft Terminator is about as close to an Innova Destroyer as I've ever thrown. I compared a 175g Z Terminator to a 171g Halo Destroyer, and the flights were nearly identical. Both gave me a little turn followed by a reliable fade and a long S-curve flight. For my forehand, I was able to push both discs out to around 350 feet, with multiple throws landing just a few feet apart.

The Z plastic on the Terminator also feels great—softer than the old-school Discraft Z plastic and very similar to Star plastic. If you love the flight of the Destroyer but want to try a Discraft disc, the Terminator is an excellent choice. It's essentially a Destroyer in a Discraft mold.
