An excellent beaded putting putter. There's a reason why a ton of pros putt with this thing. It's a reliable putter and readily available so you never have to worry about replacing them if you need to. It's basically on everyone's list of putters they try out when they get started.

Excellent putter -- for actual putts as well as longer approach shots (on which I typically got very good distance with the Judge compared with other putters). The edge profile makes it look a bit more like maybe a 3-speed disc (and might help it cut through the air a bit better, giving it some extra distance), but be that as it may, it feels good in the hand and just flat out works well for any throws you might wish to try with a putter. No qualms at all about using or recommending the Judge.

The judge is my favorite putting putter and makes a great throwing putter too. I got attached to the big bead  the judge boasts. After trying pilots and PA-3, I came back to the judge because of the bead and comfortable hand feel it has.

The Judge is my favorite putter of all time, it was also the first putter I ever used. However, after trying many others, I'm happy to say I still putt with a Judge - I own 9 now. :) In my experience, classic plastic grabs chains the best. I used Lucid Ice for a while and found it to be a bit slicker than I prefer, highly recommend this disc!!!

Such a wonderful putting putter and throwing putter. I use the Classic for putting and a Classic Soft for throwing. They are so reliable and consistent. I have smaller hands but these feel so comfortable. I prefer a bead and love the one on the Judge. I highly recommend this to anyone!

By sheer luck, the Judge was the first putter I bought when I started playing. It hgasn't left my bag since! (The 14 speed driver that I assumed I would need was quickly replaced with a Leopard! lol)

At this point, I struggle to use a different putter because I am so used to the calm, controlled flight a Judge offers. Mine is white, & it is just all scuffed and stained up, but I'll never get rid of it! One of my favorite discs.

What can you day about the Judge that hasn't already been said! One of the greatest putters ever made.
The Judge features a flat top with a moderately sized bead. In classic plastic, it is firm with good grip, not as slick as KC pro plastic from Innova. Off the tee, it is straight with a mild but reliable fade within 250ft. For a putting putter, it has tremendous glide but not too much that errant putts leave you outside of C1.

Overall, this disc can fit the need for anybody who loves a glidey beaded putter.

Favorite putter! I wanted to hate it when I got it from a friend because "judge" is not my favorite name idea for a disc. But I couldn't hate it. It feels so good in the hand especially for throwing and it's great for putting. I love having a mold that can fill my putting and throwing from the tee slots of putter. Love classic for putting and fusion for driving. Fusion is a little more domey than the classic blends in my experience though so just be aware.

I primarily putt with the Judge, but I also sometimes use it for my upshot disc. The main thing I love about the Classic Judge is the bead. For me, it is important to have the bead on the putter for me to have a good release. It also has a good deal of stability for the putt which makes it easier to get it around trees in the woods. I also love how good it flies for a driving putter, but this is where it comes into play for why I only give it a four star. If you are throwing the Judge in a premium plastic like Fuzion or Lucid, it has no wind resistance whatsoever. It flies a lot shorter and it flips over a lot in a headwind and a left to right on a RHBH. I prefer throwing a Luna or an Envy for a driving putter. As a putting putter, I think it is great.

This is a great disc. It is my primary throwing putter, but I also use it for putting occasionally as well. It is stable enough to not turn and burn when powered up, but if thrown smoothly will essentially hold any line that it is put on (anhyzer, hyzer, straight, etc). The Classic plastic is moderately durable, but still beats in fairly quickly, which is just how I like it. Overall strikes a great balance between price, durability, and feel. Would recommend for any beginner. The other bonus for this disc, especially in Coronavirus times, is that the Judge can be found almost anywhere, so it is very easy to find a replacement or multiples for practicing, unlikely many other putters.

You have a great discs in the judge. I have three in my bag because it is the most reliable putter I've ever came across. It is super stable and I throw it in from anywhere I can see the basket. When I'm having bad rounds I just pull out the judge and throw it out all the way to the basket because I know it will be there for me on any hole it is a super straight disc that I would never replace for any putter I'm not a dynamic discs type I've guy but they did get the judge right and I will go with that forever!

I absolutely love my judge. Picked up two in 174g Classic plastic, and the feel is better than anything I've putted with.

I'm very new to the sport and have only been golfing for about 3 months. I started with a star aviar, and it did just alright for me. I would miss putts I felt as though I should have made multiple times. However, not with the judge. My Classic Judge is a bit on the stiffer side, which I absolutely love. The plastic nice and grippy, but does get beat down by the chains a little bit.

This is my main putting putter, but I had a buddy of mine take my extra and start throwing it on his upshots and he absolutely loved the glide. Simply put, this is my favorite putter I've ever had.

There is no disc I trust more than a judge. Straight shots off tee, turnovers, approaches, and putting, I use this disc for everything. Great feel with the bead but not as over stable as other beaded putters. It has great glide and flies beautifully. I have had this disc in my bag for YEARS and I don't think I could ever use anything else. Great, consistent disc that I would recommend for everyone.

The Judge is the putter that finally made putting make sense to me. I prefer putters with a bead and this one feels great in the hand. Classic is my go to putting, but I have recently been throwing the Fuzion and have fallen in love with this disc all over again. All in all, this is an amazing disc and you can't go wrong with any plastic it's offered in.

The Judge has been my go to putter inside and outside of the circle for years. It is so consistent and has a beautiful S-turn when used from Circle 2 and beyond. There is some glide on this putter but it is not too much. Having a little bit of stability helps for stronger putts. The bead sits comfortably on the index finger allowing easy aim and a clean release. This disc is also a wonderful driving putter that goes dead straight. I use it for hyzer-flips all the time as well anhyzer approaches. It is definitely a must try!

The judge is one of those discs to me that felt great, but I just didn't click with. For whatever reason, it was a cage magnet. I couldn't get it up enough consistently. If you like the feel of the judge and want something with a bit more glide, try the Westside Crown. Similar, but it makes all the difference in the world for me.

To start things off, if you've never thrown a Judge, go buy one, you owe yourself that.

Now for the review.  I went out and bought a Lucid Judge after hearing Joe from The Disc Golf Podcast rave about it and I now have 6.  My favorite plastic is the Classic with the Lucid being a close second.

The reason I like those two plastics is that the classic feels amazing, holds up surprisingly well, and grips where it land/the chains great and the Lucid feels great driving and tends to slide through brush easily so its great if you're scrambling and need to take a tight line.

The Judge flys extremely straight and dependable. I use the Judge primarily for upshots from 50-150ft and will drive with it on very tight or short holes.  When driving I throw on a hyzer and the disc will flip flat and go straight and I can throw it almost as far as a driver, but if trying for distance you have to be smooth or you will turn it over.

For upshots this disc is point and shoot, I can easily put it next to the basket and sometimes give it a run anywhere between 50-100 ft.  I can always feel confident when I grab this disc

Many putters have come into my life, only to leave within a month or so.  That, however, is not true for the judge.  We first met about a year ago, and although it wasn't love at first sight, we slowly grew to need one another.

In the hand, it feels very solid and reliable. It's decently stable and holds most lines you put it on. It has a significant amount of glide, but not so much that it sails miles past the basket on a yip. It definitely can be used as a driving putter, but I primarily use it as putting putter.

Also, an important note, this disc has a bead. I decently large one at that.

The Judge is my go to putter for putting and straight approaches.  It feels fantastic in the hand and has given me confidence to really extend my consistent putting range.  I love the Classic Hard plastic as it has great grip and works well with my putting style.  It flies dead straight off the tee and powers down very well for approach shots.

Pretty solid for driving. In the end though this putter should not be anyones favorite. When your on its good and you can make long putts but no putter on the market will make you pay more if you miss.  If you hit anywhere but the chains this thing gets up and rolls away more than any putter which is not a good quality for a putter. i have tried nearly all.  Also the glide though it can be nice but if you miss your 20ft out instead of 10 or 30 instead of 20 and so on. Needless pressure you shouldn't have with a putter. I gave it to numerous friends to use (very beginners) and none of them ever liked it which i thought was interesting as well.  If you like the Judge try a Legacy Hunter in Protege or Gravity. If you give it a solid try  I would be shocked if you didn't like it better.

The Judge is a pretty good putter. However, it is not my favorite.

For push putting this disc is wonderful. The stability is perfect for the amount of force I put behind it that the Judge will fly straight. Its a solid putter for push putting. For driving, it isn't the best driver putter. I find that it then becomes understable and quite touchy. Under my experience of throwing I found that if I let it go slightly wrong it would turn out to be a terrible throw. I had a hard time getting solid drives.

Overall its a solid putter. Would recomend it to somone beginning the sport. For it feels great in the hand, and it is a pretty good putter in general.

Profile: This has a Aviar type depth with a definite bead.

Flight: For throwing I like the Lucid.  If released flat it holds a straight line all the way to the ground.  Pretty much holds whatever line you release it on, but I wouldn't use this if you need an anhyzer unless you have one beat in.

Putting: If you like putting with beaded putters this is a MUST try.  I do find it to be a stablish putter so a newer player is more likely to complain that it keeps going left before hitting the basket.  This is glidier than the Warden too along with being more stable.

Comparison: MVP Envy - straight with a bit of fade at the end.

Final thoughts: I don't like putting with beaded putters so I tried to bag this as a throwing putter.  It is a phenomenal approach disc, a must have in a Trilogy bag.

The Judge is a great putter, especially for those who like a bead on theirs. I know many who will use it for both putting putters as well as a good stable driving putter in Fuzion plastic. There is just a touch of fade to it that is nice for putting it on an anhyzer and allowing it to settle out of that flight nicely.

This has become my go-to putter over the past few months. After getting my first Judge in soft plastic and being displeased with how quickly it became marked up and gouged, I bought 7 more Judges in classic hard plastic. It was love at first putt. I bag two identical Handeye Supply Judges in 175g weight and I have 5 more for consistant putting practice. They're dead straight and have great glide for putters. Get yourself a Judge! (or 10)

The best disc for any upshot within 150. Sturdy and solid with the utmost reliability. When thrown standing still it will carry out to the right with a predicable fade back to the basket and roll up underneath leaning against the pole. Any time I come up short on my drive and am outside of putting distance the Judge comes out of my bag for a sure par. It will roll, land and circle right under the basket every time. Never flips out to the right, always come back. In a heavy enough weight can handle the wind. For any holes under 250 it is easily an option to use off of the tee.

The judge classic is total money in the circle. Outside the circle i use a beat classic for anny putts. I carry 5 in my bag at all times. Fusion is great for off the tee, only down side is its very slippery when wet. Classic soft for upshots the putter will just sit. I do most upshot with the classic if there isnt an issue rolling away.  I own roughly 16 judges cant imagine not having one.

If you want a putter that can do it all, this is your disc. I say that because it comes in so many plastics that you can literally find one to do any job.

For example... if you want a putter just for putting say inside the circle then look towards the Classic plastic. It doesn't matter if you like em hard or soft the Classic line has you covered, it comes in Classic (hard) Classic Soft (soft) and Classic Blend (inbetween)

If you want a driving putter with a little higher end plastic then look towards the Fusion plastic.

Me personally I carry 4 judges...

Judge Classic - Only used for putting

Judge Classic Blend - Only used for putting, better for colder days or wet days

Judge Classic Soft - Throwing and upshots

    Judge Fusion - Driving putter

Plus I have large hands and this thing is thin. it always comes out wobbly and so many direct-hit-and-bounce-off-of-the-chains-putts, come to think of it I hate this thing now.

I have a 176 g Judge in classic plastic.  Putting has always been a somewhat iffy part of my game and I went through a few putting styles before deciding to try push putting.  I tried some other discs with this style and didn't like how they felt.  I eventually decided to try a Judge and it works great for this style of putting.

I don't like using my Judges for approaches mainly because this plastic gets marked up with any contact with a hard surface, so I can't comment on how this disc flies when thrown more conventionally.  I give this disc 5 stars based on how well it has worked for me as an inside the circle putter.

I would recommend this as a first putter or as a veteren's putter of choice.  I throw this in classic hard and fuzion, and have used the soft and blend  and VIP in the past.  It flies like a straighter wizard, i like to put a little anny on the disc and let the disc float a bit right and thn fade back into the chains. My best putter outside the circle I have ever seen!

Really straight for upshots and awesome for tunnel shots.  The VIP is the most similar in flight to the wizard.

The Judge is truly a do everything disc. Great for forehand and backhand, putt, approach, and drive shots. The flight is always dependable, and will never let you down. The classic plastic is nice and grippy, and likes to grab chains. This disc won't roll away if you butcher a putt, and will always be your pal. The Judge can even fly farther than some of my drivers as well. The Judge is a must-have disc.

This is my go-to putter for all push putts.  It is just a touch more consistent than the McPro Aviar.  I like the Classic plastic best, which is very firm.  Classic-blend is a little less firm and works well in the cold months.  Classic soft is just too soft for me.  This putter does have a little bead on the rim but I don't notice it at all.  I don't throw this disc for distance, but it handles the occasional upshot really well.

The Judge has become my go to putter and gets pulled out more often than I ever thought would be possible for upshots as well. I have 172g Classic Judge. I generally prefer soft putters but this one changed my mind and now I couldn't see myself ever using soft putters again. This disc has helped me to develop my putting game by leaps and bounds. I am a push putter and this disc seems to fly really well in that regard. My friends who are spin putters also love this disc and are constantly trying to get mine of me in trade but my Judge will never leave my bag. I plan on getting a Fuzien Judge in the future for driving and upshots. Love this disc and recommend it immensely to any and all players of the sport.
