Dynamic Discs' long distance driver promises max distance for intermediate-advanced disc golfers. On a powerful throw, the Renegade may be very understable; good for downwind shots and rollers. The Renegade has a substantial degree of high speed turn, impressive glide, and a significant low speed fade. The Dynamic Discs Renegade is available in transparent Lucid plastic, Fuzion plastic for the Eric McCabe series, and the most affordable BioFuzion plastic.

Fir off with my recommendation. When i say very beginner firendly i mean as your first distance driver not your first disc. With that said I have this disc in my bag for my extremely understable driver. This disc was by no means what i was expecting when i bought it. I was hoping for a middle distance driver that would flip up a bit and fade back to about straight. Not by any means what this disc is. I have the bio renegade in a 173. With all that said i by no means dislike this disc. Once you realize what it might be it ia a beautiful flying disc. Full power i can throw this disc with about 70 degrees of hyzer and get it to turn right and stay right. Anything less than mayber 30 or 40 degrees full power will turn into a roller.

This is also an extremely workable disc. There is a hole at my home course that is about a 100 foot tunnel shot, followed by a 90 degree dogleg left with about 150 to 200 feet of open space to the pin. I use the bio defender on an extreme hyzer with about 60% power. It clears the tunnel and, aslong as i dont overpower it, stays on hyzer and just glides left without fighting to the ground like the gladiator i used to throw there.

To long didnt read. Very underatable disc that is extremely useful once you realize what you get into

This disc is great for my arm speed. I have a more beat in one in BioFuzion and a more stable Lucid one. I throw my BioFuzion one much more and it is my straightest flying distance driver. I could see how it might flip over for huge arms, but for my average arm (300+ RHBH, female player) it's pretty much dead straight when released on the right angle.

Love this disc. My go to for long distance BH drives. Will turn over and then fade back consistently every time. However, I feel that is has less fade than printed on the disc. It's not too much less but noticeable enough. Overall, great disc.

I am forehand dominant and just started throwing this disc to explore the world of understable discs.  This is a great disc, much better than the Aries which flies further but can't handle the wind.  Powered down this disc flies similar to a Wraith in low/no wind with two thirds the power, and has a nice S curve flight when thrown flat and straight at ten feet off the ground.  When the wind picked up I got a nice roller throwing a forehand anhyzer at full power,  which rolled straighter and further than the Roadrunner I also threw.  In summary when thrown forehand the Renegade is not a Wraith, but with a clean throw in low/no wind it is Wraithlike in its flight and distance and flies as far and and as straight with much less effort with more grace.

I've been playing for a little over 3 months, and decided to make the jump from mid-range and fairway drivers to entry-level distance drivers. Sitting at a comfortable speed, I love teeing off with the Renegade for "bomber" holes. For many people, the disc is utilized as a great roller selection. While my arm speed hasn't developed to that level, I thoroughly throwing my Renegade on a fairly predictable flight path.

Love this disc. I currently bag 3 renegades all biofuzion 172g, 175g and 175g. This disc was the step up for me from my old star Mamba that I used to throw for hyzer flip to turnover, hyzer flip to straight and long distance rolers. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this disc. I have been trying to find something that could replace my mamba, but i always used to say "mamba does mamba things". That was until I got hooked on the Renegade. You should definitely try this if you are looking to fill that long distance hyzer flip/roller slot in your bag. And if you are someone that swears by the mamba like I used to be I suggest you give this a try.

Add me to the list of happy users of this disc. I have been looking for a disc like this for a while now. I'm glad I finally tried it. It has the numbers of my old trusty Flash, but longer.  Discraft discontinued the Flash, and I had yet to find a decent replacement for that slot in my bag. Well, this is it, I think. I've only thrown it a bit so far, but I'm at home with it.

It's my flip-straight distance disc. IMO this is a longer Escape, which I also like a lot.  It will turn when released flat with power. It will hold a long turnover, too, though that's a little touchier, espeically in wind. The main thing is I can throw this where I want, and it goes a long way. I struggle to get much extra D from a lot of high speed discs, but I can get the distance out of this one. In fact, this is the disc that flies furthest for me. I'm sold.

Well it didn't take long for the biofuzion to break in to quite under stable. This disc is now touchy, turning more than it fades.  I now why so many see it as a roller. I still like it,but it's not for hyzer finishes. It flips up with hyzer release turns some. Flat shot it will roll.

This Disc is a pleasure to throw! I started playing only 6 months ago (August 2014), I am 57 yrs old, and definitely do not have a strong arm. My Renegade is in the BioFuzion plastic, 176g. My longest throws are about 280 feet with either the Renegade or my MVP Inertia in Proton plastic. I find these two discs fly similarly for me with the Inertia being a tad longer on calm days. When the wind kicks up the Renegade seems to be far more reliable. The Inertia is rather understable/flippy for me in wind. The Renegade is much more controlable in wind except for left to right conditions. The main thing for me is the "Fun Factor", and the Renegade surely is fun to throw. I can't imagine anyone not finding this disc useful.

Have in both lucid and bio. Bio is to date my longest disc I carry. Have just the rt amount of turn for me to s out and fade back rt in front of the pad, only 350' out. Even better wih a tail wind and rate my bio a 5 star. My lucid is 1st run and totally different flight. Much more overstable. Must be thrown w a lil anhyzer for me to see any kind of turn. Usually tops out aroundnd 300 and much farther left than the bio
