The EV-7 Ouroboros is an overstable approach putter designed for reliable, torque-resistant flights. Developed with input from Dr. Charlie Booras, it offers a touch more stability than discs like the Zone while maintaining controlled distance and consistent finish. It handles power well and holds its line before finishing with a strong, dependable fade, making it a trusted option for approach shots in the 280 to 320 foot range.

My Flight Ratings: 4/4/0.5/3.5 Not Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 125 Straight Score: Very Overstable

I have been throwing the Ouroboros long before it's release since I'm the one who requested an OS approach disc from Phil Arthur, who designed all of the Prodigy discs for the first 10 years and then designed all the discs for EV-7 after leaving Prodigy.

I wanted a Zone-like disc BUT, Phil created something much better. The Ouroboros glides further than the Zone and offers less turn, and more Fade than a Zone OS and stays very close to where it hits the ground. I primarily use it for sidearm approach shots. It has a narrower rim than a Zone and a flat top which makes it very comfortable in the hand. I've gotten some that have a slight puddle top, which makes those runs even better for my sidearm!

I rapidly developed supreme confidence with this discby hammering it in some very strong headwinds in the 25-35 mph range, which barely'affect it's flight at all. I've never had one get flippy even if I give a bit of anny into a headwind. I have given away quite a few of these to many of Jacksonville's best players and their feedback matches my impressions. Even strong players max out at 290'while giving it full power (this includes a couple of touring Pro's).

Due to it's overstability I do not consider it beginner friendly.

You should give this disc a try. Odd's are it will make the bag and prove invaluable for your approach game.
