Adding a review for the 2022 Holly Finley color glow Mako3. This year they did go up to max weight and the run came out with a mild dome. It's very neutral out of the box, a little less stable than a Discmania MD, so I think Innova nailed it this time around. With some seasoning, this will be a nice easy hyzer-flip/turnover disc. This should make the bag in my understable midrange slot, but it does need to see some use first.

The Holley Finley color glow Mako3 is a mold/plastic combination I was hoping to see from Innova.  I am disappointed that it only comes in the 165-169 weight range.  I get that Holley likes those weights, but it would be nice for consumers to go up to max weight.  I tested this against my Discmania MD and Star Mako3.  The color glow shows some flip/turn right out of the box.  This could be because of the lighter weight or it could be the plastic.  I found that both the MD and Star Mako3 had more glide.  That may change as the color glow wears in, but I think weight might be a factor as well.  The wind resistance just seems to slow lighter discs down faster.

I think it's a good disc - great for beginners, but I'll wait until I see another run of these to grab my preferred weight for mids in the 175-177g range.
