This disc sits between my Lucid Judge and Titanium Zone. It actually feels a lot like a zone; shallow rim and all, but is noticeably more glidey which is very useful. I use it for backhand shots where I need to hit a narrow fairway straight with a hyzer finish around 250 to just under 300. My step up is a dx or champion glow roc.  I don't recommend it for beginners just cuz it needs a little more power and a solid throw to get it to do what you need it to. Where they differ most is their ability to handle sidearm torque. A rat will slightly turn where Zone's fly dead straight and fade.

As others have mentioned, this disc feels a little glide-ier to me than a 2 and fades a little softer for me than a 3. My go-to disc in the 125'-200' range. It's almost a point-and-shoot approach for me. Throwing LHFH, I aim a little right of the basket and it usually parks itself right where I want it. It'll grab grass and usually stay put. While I throw backhand occasionally, I really only use the Rat for forehand approaches and it's excellent in that role. Super comfortable in hand and handles a decent bit of torque.

The Color Glow Champs I own are a little more overstable than the stock Star version, but I throw both. I honestly don't know many people that throw the Rat, but I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you like flick approaches but don't want something as beefy as a Harp or Zone. Those discs definitely have the fade that the Rat claims to have in its numbers, but it's actually a bit of a softie. And that's why I love it.
