This is my favorite disc! Anytime I throw it, i am within 30' of the basket. My gf loves thunderbirds for throwing into a headwind. This disc is super predictable and feels perfect in my hand. I always have 2 pros in my bag at all times because if one went into a lake or anything I couldn't finish a round without it.

The one word to describe this disc is consistency. When I throw my Thunderbird, I know I'm going to get a straight flight and a consistent fade at the finish and that is what I'm going to get if it's windy and raining or warm and sunny. I bag two Thunderbirds (Champion and Star X-out) and molds and flight paths a very consistent across the different plastics.

I don't think I would hand this disc to a brand new player, it would be something I would have players work up to once they have a consistent throw with some understable discs and need to start adding an overstable disc to their bag.

After having a very overstable Star Thunderbird, I decided to try a Pro. Wow... this Pro Thunderbird flys beautifully! Slightly overstable when new, but definitely not so overstable I can't throw it well. As a rather new player, I've found this disc to be a great forehand disc (former ultimate player here), as well as a consistent backhand flying disc as well. I'm sure as it beats in, it'll only continue to get more use in my bag!
