My first putter was an Aviar and I always did poorly with it. The Wedge brought my putts and approaches into an enjoyable experience.  It flew dead straight when I started out with it and as my skill improved, I learned to hyper flip it. It's become my go-to approach and putting disc at the moment. I think the reason I dislike putters so much is because of their bulkiness/thickness. This disc helps me retain my driving grip when putting and I'm developing consistancy in my throws (vs changing grip and throwing technique for every disc... going from something too over stable to something more under stable was a game changer and it made me do the same thing for my drivers. I feel this is a disc I should have started playing with period - instead of a fairway Leopard3 driver. The wind can drastically increase or decrease it's glide but side push is hardly noticeable,  so it's nice.to have something that always flies straight.

The Wedge has become a great approach disc for me. I was previously using an aviar for my approach shots, I still do in certain scenarios. I have found that the wedge flies farther than my putter upshots and holds a straighter line as it is less likely to fade out at the end of its flight due to it's under-stability. I've have used the wedge a lot for tight tunnel shots and it has proved itself time after time. I believe that this disc fits between a midrange and a putter. It truly is an approach disc, but I'm not crazy about putting with it. It has a significantly thinner rim than a putter as well as many midranges for that matter. Although it's a unique disc, It may not be for everyone. For me, I love the thing, and it makes its way out my bag many times a round.

Most underrated disc in  my bag. This little guy will work wonders for you when scrabbling or if you don't feel comfortable with a forehand flick. Just try one out and it will not disappoint.

The Wedge feels and flies more like a putt and approach disc to me. It was almost like a lower profiled version of a Dart. It flies extremely straight without much power, and it is easy to control accuracy and distance. I have other discs I use for these purposes, but this could be a good option for others.

Ok I bought this one just because. After sitting in and not using it I decided to start just doing Putter rounds and Mid Range rounds. So I brought the Wedge with me and all my putter and WOW. It throws like a Mid Range I was getting around 225 ft and Straight.

If there is a slight breeze it will flip or if you go for a 100 ft approach shot slight understable.

At full power throw goes straight with a little fade at the end.

With not having a big lip or bead on the disc it looks like a classic Stingray just more stable then my stringray. Very low profile disc if you have small hands or fingers.

Looks like this disc is going to be great when I need a tight tunnel shot through trees at 100-150 ft.

This disc just got a spot in the bag.

I have this disc in DX 150g.

Anyone remember the Ching Sniper?  This is the sniper reborn!!!

Perfectly stable with a smooth glide when thrown at short distances.  Understable when thrown at a distance.

If you haven't already, ADD THIS DISC TO YOUR MIDRANGE/APPROACH ARSENAL!!!!!  It will take strokes off your game!

I'll be honest here -- I bought a lightweight Wedge for my wife since she has a noodle arm and gets very discouraged trying to throw other mids and putters. Of course I had to test drive it first though! I ended up keeping it for myself and getting her one as well. This disc helped me to better learn hyzerflip to straight and hyzerflip turnover shots. I've been hyzerflipping a beat in KC Roc for a while now, but the Wedge has helped me sharpen that skill. I'm going to go ahead and get another one, this time in Star plastic, so I can keep a few on hand when I'm in a tight situation.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this to beginners and even those who have been playing for a while.

This is such an easy disc to throw.  For throwing, it turns nicely and is easy to place next to the pin on upshots.  It is also servicable for putting.

Loved this disc the first few games I played with it. I have a 170 dx, it beat in super fast just in practice putts. It quickly became very understable, now the only thing I use it for is up hill putting, it is great for that.
