The Valor is a hybrid mold that fills the space between the flights of the Ghost and the Gauge. This disc is a great choice for both long and short distance throws. The Valor will hold the flight path for a long time with a slight fade at the end. It is a disc that can be used off the tee or for upshots and approaches.

I tested the Valor along with its midrange siblings, the Gauge and Badger, plus a few other mids with similar flight numbers. The webpage gives 5/5/0/2, but the stamp on my disc has 5/5/-1/2 -- which seems pretty accurate to me: Comparing it to my Zheng and Desolation (both 5/5/0/2), it clearly had more initial turn to the right before fading back. I got reaonably straight flights and good distance with it, with reliable slight fade at the end. The Valor usually ended up a bit short compared to the Gauge, but still pretty decent; and it was comparable to other stable mids as well. I prefer the feel of the Gauge in the hand, so maybe some of the performance difference between them actually lies in how well their shapes suit my particular hand size and grip? I like the feel of the Icon plastic, though I haven't had occasion yet to see just how durable it is. I do notice a little bit of flashing on the outer edge of each one of these Legacy midranges, but it's not enough to be a problem.

I got one of these in a mystery box recently, so I tossed it in my bag to try out against my current mid lineup(Flat Top Icon Ghosts and ESP Comets).  Upon first throw, I quickly realized that it doesn't really fly like it's numbers.  The bulkier nose had me thinking it might be a slower mid like a Shark or Roc, but after the first toss, I can see why it's considered a speed 5 mid.  The glide on this is similar to a comet and so is the turn and stability.  It's a real straight shooter out of the box and has a very minimal fade on the end.  It really didn't vary from it's flight path by more than a foot or two, left and right.

If you're looking for a smaller diameter mid that has some serious glide, easy control and pin point accuracy, give the Valor a go.  It'll hold up against any mid on the market as far as I'm concerned.

This is a great disc for forehand approaches. It feels like a beaded gauge but flys straight with a modest fade. Flicking this disc is comfortable and predictable. I have a recluse for forehand approaches but if i need a softer fade this disc is perfect for that shot. The Valor feels almost like the Recluse but not as big of a bead and the rim kinda rounds up onto the flight plate but the plate is flat. I would recommend this disc for anyone.

This has become my absolute go-to mid range.  It is the quintessential "holds the line you put it on" disc.  Threw it side by side with a McBuzzz and got the exact same distance, but Valor flew a little straighter / a touch less fade.  This is perfect for me, as I love throwing mids on holes that are between 260-340', especially in the woods, and I count on a reliable flight.  Even in wind I find I can throw this disc very confidently.

For throwers who like to force a disc over, this disc probably will not fight back, but if you throw flat or with a touch of hyzer, it is a thing of beauty.  Huge annhyzers are easy to pull off and very accurate.

5  5  0  2 seem like fairly accurate numbers.  Maybe even 5  5  0  1.  I don't get a lot of turn unless I really rip on it, and the fade is very subtle.  Anyone who throws Legacy knows that Icon is one of the best feeling plastics, and the swirly colors they are coming out with are beautiful.

In short, this is a great mid.
