This is an overstable putt & approach mold. It exhibits a longer wing, more of a broad shoulder, and a microbead. This will prove itself a trustworthy mold despite weather conditions.

Nice OS putter. Go to in the wind, will fight it off and seek out the basket. Low glide to keep approach shots within the bullseye. Some complain about the depth of the putter being uncomfortable for forehands, but I have not found that to be true. It is a deep dish similar in feel to a Dagger and is fine for forehand or backhand.

    Disc - 175 V2 Bullsnake

Feel - The feel is probably my biggest hang up with the bullsnake. It is very deep and has a sharp bead on the bottom of the rim. The bullsnake has a consistent flat to puddle top which is awesome but feels very deep for both backhand and forehand. I am hoping that as I use my bullsnake more, its bead will diminish and make the disc more comfortable over all

Flight - The bullsnake is a very low glide, overstable approach disc. I would compare it to the stability of an overstable zone, but with much less glide. Not glide as glideless as a berg, but closer to a berg than zone in terms of glide. It fights out of flexing angles and handles the wind extremely well, but the feel in the hand is the biggest issue for myself.

Overall - If you have very large hands or like deep frisbees for approach shots, I would highly recommend this disc. Personally, I am going to continue to work with this disc, but it is not for me at its current state.

I wanted to love this disc but it just didn't work for me. Based on the flight numbers, I thought it would fly like the DD Slammer but it was less stable and had better glide for me. It ended up just being a worse Discraft Zone. It's also incredibly uncomfortable. The disc would get caught on my finger on release and it took me several tries to get a good throw with it. I don't think beginners would get anything out of this disc and more experienced players can find much better overstable approach discs.

If you want an approach disc that will go to the left when thrown RHBH and right when thrown RHFH this is the one you want. This has replaced my zone, my pig and my halo AviarX3.

I can throw this at full power RHBH and I can trust that it will finish left everytime or throw a chip shot that will not outfly the basket.

The Bull Snake is a great overstable approach disc - a worthy competitor for the Zone / Slammer type disc! The big bead takes a little getting used to, and I was not a fan of the Victor plastics (for discs other than putting putters). Once Lone Star starts producing the Bull Snake in more premium plastics, you're going to be seeing a lot of people bagging it!
