The Penny Putter is not only a great putting putter, but also a great putter for throwing off the tee. It has a neutral, straight flight with a nice finish at the end. The Bravo plastic is a little more overstable than the Victor plastics. It is a beadless putter with a nice rounded rim.

Great disc! But I feel like the numbers make this disc seem as though it is more stable than it actually is. Otherwise this is a great disc! Great for straight flights with little to no fade.

The Penny is Lone Stars Aviar clone. Every single manufacturer has at least one Aviar clone, because it was the first true putter, and frankly, it's a pretty darn good design. This one is a beadless Aviar clone. The upcoming Benny Putter is going to be their big bead Aviar clone. What the Penny from everybody else's clone?  Simple: the plastic.

The plastic is simply the best out there. Decades of making oil field equipment has given Lone Star the knowledge to make plastic that is light years better than anybody else's.  The Alpha plastic is the premium that everyone else should be compared to. Bravo has the best grippy feel and is incredibly impact resistant. The Victor putter plastics feel more like a hard rubber in the hand, but without the nasty super flexibility of rubber discs, and they float in water as a bonus.

The flight numbers are very accurate. 3,3,-1,1 for Victor plastic, and 3,3,0,2 for premium plastic. More manufacturers should do this for plastic that flies differently.

If you like the flight of Aviars, but want one in a truly fantastic plastic, you can't go wrong with the Penny.

    Disc - 173 V2 Penny Putter

Feel - The penny has a very rounded shape, very similar to the Discraft roach or luna. It is extremely comfortable in my decently large hands. It is not overly deep or shallow and has no bead at all.

Flight - The penny is one of the glidiest putters I have ever felt. It feels as though it stays in the air a very long time. It is also very understable in the victor plastics. As a thrower, it needs to be thrown with a lot of touch or on a significant hyzer. As a putter, it stays extremely straight for most of the flight with a small fade at the end of the flight.

Overall - The penny is an awesome disc. It may struggle a bit as a putter in the wind but on calm days it makes it very easy for long jump putt approaches, long jump putt makes, and other distance putting. Would definitely reccommend this frisbee to anyone.

This putter feels amazing! It's very comfortable in the hand. People compare it to a Luna, but since I've never held a Luna, it feels to me like a more shallow Aviar/Warlock. The plastic is also outstanding. I wasn't a fan of how flexible V1 plastic is, but V2 was perfect. It feels grippier to me than most putter plastics, while retaining it's stiffness. I'm so glad to have discovered this putter, give it a try!

The Penny Putter is my favorite putting putter. The victor2 plastic is the perfect amount of grippy while still being nice and firm. Makes getting that perfect release on putts so much easier.
It's beadless and flies neutral when putting. Very straight line to where you release it. Has a good glide without dumping at the end.
It's a bit too understable for me when throwing, but is perfect for putting as it is dependable on the putt.
Bonus points for it floating (I've never had more confidence putting with water behind the basket) and the cool heads side of the penny stamp.

I definitely recommend giving this putter a try. The unique plastic and great feel and flight makes it that perfect putter I've been looking for.

Over the years, I've mostly used the Yeti Pro Aviars as my main putters. I loved their feel and flight paths. Although, I wasn't a fan of the puddle top or the beaded lip.

The Penny Putter in the V2 plastic is everything I've been looking for in a putter! Same feel and consistent flight as the Yeti, without the bead or the puddle top. The V2 Penny is stiff and tacky... money!

So just right off the bat, The Penny Putter in Victor plastic 1 or 2 floats.  You can push it under water and it will pop back up.

That being said. This is my favorite putter plastic of all time. It feels like an eraser in hand and is perfect for a release that won't slip.

By far my favorite putter of all time.

This putter is fantastic, is an absolute delight to have in the bag, and instantly kicked out my Logic's. For context, I love putters. I own at least 40 different molds of putters looking for the right one to throw off the tee, the right grip, the right feel... all the things.

The Penny is a Luna/Roach clone; the shape and flight of the discs are identical. However, the Victor 2 plastic is the best putting plastic I've ever felt. It's more grippy than Kastaplast's K3, Gateway's SSS, or Discmania's Soft Evolution plastic while being more robust and less flexible. This thing leaves my hand perfectly and intentionally every time.

Like the Luna, throwing this putter off the tee demonstrates the flight numbers aren't accurate. It has a slow, gradual turn and essentially never comes out of it, even if released with hyzer and at lower speeds.

In the circle, it flies like most putters with slight overstability, though not as overstable as something like a P2.

I'd also like the mention the quality of production. There was no flashing and the mold was perfectly smooth. For example, many complain the rim of the P2 is sharp and uncomfortable. This mold rounded the bottom edge where your fingers curl making it more friendly. Also, the stamp on the disc isn't printed, it's an embossed foil and is made of a separate material from the rest of the disc. You can't scratch it off if you try, let alone need to worry about the stamp degrading over time.

The Penny Putter is my first mold from Lone Star and I'm am extremely impressed.

This review is for putting only, not for throws or approaches. Best putter I've ever owned, was looking for something after my luna lost its tackiness, and didn't want to spend a fortune on a new luna, and this disc finally replaced it, and did more than that. If you like tacky and stiff putters, you'll love this,  I've shown this to a lot of people the past 2 weeks I've had it and everyone is very impressed on how it feels. Plus the stamp is dope af. Also makes a great head or tails flipper

I used Aviars to start and tried a Penny Putter to support a small home-state business. I'm probably not going to go back.

I enjoy the stiffness of the disc overall, and the Victor 2 plastic is so tacky and grippy: it's amazing. My confidence in putting is just boosted knowing in heat, cold, wind, or rain, this disc is leaving my hand right when I want it to. It will not slip. The flight numbers are pretty spot on, though I don't use this as a throwing putter so I'm not too familiar with a driving flight path. It holds a hyzer putt better than an Aviar, and doesn't fade quite as hard as a Luna (which I use as one of my throwing putters). It does hold speed better and feels better than the Aviar with some heat on it. Even though they share the same glide numbers the two Aviars I have definitely feel far more floaty. The Victor 2 Penny Putter has been wearing in quite evenly and hasn't gouged or chipped like the DX Aviar can.

Highly recommend trying this putter out, especially in the Victor 2 plastic. It is far more expensive than DX Aviars, but it is worth it. Well done Lone Star Discs!
