There isn't really anything to complain about with the Rio Grande. It has a good amount of turn to give lower arm speeds more distance, but not so much as to prevent a well executed hyzer flip. Forehand or backhand felt great to me. It is a bit domey, so that could potentially not feel as great for a forehand for some people. Beginners or intermediate players could pick this up and find a use for it instantly.

I can picture myself using the Rio Grande on a wooded course for more technical, stand-still type of shots with a lot of success.
