The Omega SuperSoft is one of the best disc golf putters ever. This disc offers superior grip and total control over the stable flight path. The soft grippy plastic is flexible, grips the chains, and helps you make more putts. The SuperSoft Omega also makes a good approach disc that won’t fly too far and will stop on a dime.

I really like the Omega Super Soft and think of is as the Swiss Army knife of my short game.  It has enough glide to make long putts easy and the soft plastic will stick to the chains.  Touchy approach shots are also very easy knowing the Omega SS will hit and sit wherever it lands.  There is enough under stability to excel at understable approaches and anhyzer putts; however, there is enough stability to take some power without turning over.  I do not use this as my primary putter, but I find myself reaching for the Omega SS several times a round.  I can't recommend this one enough because of versatility in the short game and on the green.

Simply the greatest putter I have ever had the privilege to throw! I'll just start there.

I picked up the Omega in March 2000 at a little course known as Circle R Ranch in Wimberly TX from a guy by the name John Houck. This was only the second putter I ever owned. First being my '98 Chains Aviar (love that disc too!). I really liked the soft, pliable and tacky feel of the Omega. Very floppy yet I had great control of the disc. Initially I used it as a in the circle putter but in recent times have been using it as a driver. In all of the years of abuse, trees, being used as second base by my kids, left in hot cars, etc, the Omega is still the same disc it was when I bought it! Slightly floppier but the rim is still firm. That old disc still flies like it did 20 years ago. Very straight with gentle turn/fade and sticks where it lands

The Omega (at least that version) was a flat top to slightly dished in disc. No bead and a comfortable rounded rim. The depth is similar to the Aviar of that time. I believe it was a spin off (no pun intended) of the Aviar made by Innova for Millenium. The Omega has a speed rating that belies it's potential. I can consistently out throw all of my other putters with this one. The speed 2 makes it beginner friendly. My wife has claimed this disc (I say stole, but she is my wife....) and has thrown some her best shots with it right off the start. That is the beauty of the Omega. It has a spot in nearly any skill level. My all-time favorite.

Best Soft Putter inside 50 feet.

I have had an Omega SuperSoft in my bag since it was made.  This disc will stay in the chains and fall in the basket.  Great for aggressive putts, Straddle slam putts.  The latest molds have some really great flight in light weights,  This disc will stay near the basket if missed or used for approach.  I stock up on this disc whenever I find the ones I like.  This disc also does all the control touch putts too,  Sweet anhyzer putts and deadly accurate hyzer putts that stay in the chains.  This disc will flex when thrown with heavy hyzer and can be more stable,  it is a strange shot you have to throw to believe.   The Big Bead Omega can handle the wind as a compliment to this disc.

The Omega is one of the best discs ever made. On approach shots or putts it is a very controllable disc. With decent spin control it is safe to run long shots and know the disc will still  stay close to the pin. The problem is that it is hard to find exactly the right feeling Omega you want. The plastics have always felt very different from one run to the next. Still fighting the nightmare that is finding the right Omega is entirely worth it.

Two words: CHAIN MAGNET. This has been my current putter for about 3 months now and I love it from a certain distance in. For longer putts (30 feet out for me) I don't like it as much as I find it difficult to get it to the bucket. But from 30 or 35 in as long as it is not a really windy day, the Omega is my go to because it defies the chains more times than not.

I used this putter for well over a decade and loved it until the Warden came along. This Omega is one of those putters that will cheat the chains. If you can get it to touch one link of the chain it will almost always sit. The SuperSoft is so floppy that I've made several putts through the cage and into the basket. Also it just feels great in the hand, wet, dry, warm or cold conditions.

The only real downfall is this disc becomes difficult to control outside of the circle.
