This disc lied to me. It's not understable at all. I think that mvp was trying to replicate the buzzz (hex) and buzzz ss (detour) both are a tick more stable than the numbers. The buzzz and hex are 5/5/0/1 and the buzzz ss and detour are 5/5/-1/1. So yea good neutral flip-up to flat disc, just not as advertised.

Great understandable.midrange. It starts out understable but it tries to fight back at the end of the flight. I have 2 in my bag. A neutron that is understable great in the woods for shot shaping and great for hyzer flips, and a eclipse one that is straight as a arrow but it keeps wanting to push forward.

Lazer straight flying machine. Flat topped like most mvp discs. Neutron plastic has great grip and durability. Very comfortable in the hand, not being too deep or too shallow. Your best friend in the woods for long to very long mid range shots. Easy to turn over too. Hands down one of the best straight flying mids out there

Simply put, this disc is money! Before this disc came out, I could never really find my go to straight midrange and go-to woods disc, but this disc changed everything! This is now the disc I pull out the most in tight and short fairways where perfect accuracy is more important than pure distance. With power and a little hyper, this disc will flip up to flat and glide to the right for 80% of it's flight, before a very gentle fade (basically lands flat!). On a flat release and 50% power, this disc will be on a rope on whatever line you put it on. This disc is perfect for anyone's game and will shave strokes off your game.

When I got this in my Gyropaloza box I was a little suspect. It is now my favorite midrage. I don't have a lot of power but this disc is easy for me to get the turn for some akward shots. It is also my go to for straight shots using a hyzer flip technique. I'd advise anyone to get this.

This is my go to hyzer flip mid range. I love how it will flip up to flat and then will continue to turn and have a little fade at the end. I also enjoy throwing it on flat and I get the great turn out of the disc with the fade at the end. When thrown on anhyzer it pans great with no fade at the end.

One of my new favorite discs. I normally throw a bit on hyzer, and I have always had a hard time flipping up straighter mids like a Hex. With the Detour I dont need to worry about that anymore. It flips up to flat perfectly with a little turn and just glides and glides and glides. I have also been able to throw this in place of many of my fairway drivers given the efffortless distance that it gets. Amazing disc, couldn't reccomend it enough.

(This review is for the stock release SE purple 174g detour) This thing is a beauty, the very definition of a fairway laceing midrange. I personally think that this disc is more versatile than the hex (controversial I know) as you can use this on extreme hyzers to get slow leftward hyzer shots, moderate hyzer to flip up to flat and ride, flat to get a nice S shaped flight, or anhyzer for a sky anny or roller shot. I have only thrown this disc around 10 or 15 times but I can already tell it's going to be a mainstay in the bag. Definitely pick one up if you love controllable understability.

    172 Neutron Detour Lab Second

    My Ratings - 5 / 5 / -2 / 1

This is one I feel the flight ratings are spot on from MVP. It functions as a "do it all" midrange for the average player. The versatality of this disc has allowed me to bag only 2 mids. This one allows me to do turnovers, dead straight shots (what it loves the most), and deep hyzers that flip and just pan away. It has enough stability to hold a slight hyzer flip dead straight out to about 250. Anything beyond that will require more hyzer and may want to start drifting over slightly. The good glide also allows me to even replace my fairways on some shots.

Overall, I could not be happier with this disc. It has exceeded my expectations. Given the stability, I do not pull it out into too much of a headwind, but I have other discs for that.

Got my Detour in the Gyropalooza box and it is fantastic. Flies true to the flight numbers as it is slightly understable but also flies very straight. It doesn't flip and burn over, instead the disc just glides and holds a line to the right before getting a littlke bit of fade. Can't wait for the stock run to come out.

This became one of my favorite discs from the first time I ever threw it.  I can throw smooth turnover lines, and this is the first disc I have ever been able to hyzer flip with any consistency.  The Detour opened lines that were not available to me before.  Highly recommend!

This has very quickly become a favorite disc for me and my go-to midrange. Just an incredibly reliable understable mid. Released flat it will just gently pan right (RHBH) all the way to the ground, or on a bit of hyzer it'll pop up to flat and just be a dead straight lazer.

Reliably understable, can be thrown on flip-ups, holds turnover lines without burning out and rolling, been great for me on a lot of shots. It's a less flippy, more glidey Uplink, with a rim similar to the Entropy.

We were blessed with a fantatsitc Gyropalooza box, but the disc that has quickly become the favorite is the Detour.  With a Detour and a Roc3 in your bag straight shots will be significnatly less intimidating.  That's my read on tne disc so far....it wants you to trust in it's instability just like the roc wants you to trust in it's stability.

Really nice disc, got mine in GYROpaloosa box. Can hyzer flip and lace a fairway or flat for gentle turn.
