The Motion is an overastable, long=range distance driver in the MVP line-up and definitely has a pronounced fade. It is great for forehand flicks and big curving skips.

OS, good for headwind shots.  Stability can vary with different plastic blends.

The Motion is a longer Axiom Fireball. And by longer I mean maybe 25-30ft. There may be a discernable distinction, but not one I could find between the two. If you want a super overstable disc that you know for a fact will always fade. The Motion is a strong option. I used it more for utility shots than anything else.

    Disc - 175 Plasma Motion

Feel - The motion feels similar to the firebird in the hand. The motion I received has a bit of middle dome, similar to many trilogy discs, but other than that feels great for backhands and forehands.

Flight - The motion is extremely overstable. It seems like it has a bit more glide than FAF firebird but has the same amount of fade as those discs. It will fight out of nearly any amount of anhyzer out of the hand and holds up very well against the wind.

Overall - The motion is a great disc that seems to have been pushed to the wayside by other MVP/Axiom/Streamline overstable fairways but the motion is a great disc that more people should throw.

Great overstable disc. Found this disc worked excellent for thumbers (I don't have a tomahawk) and flex forehands to get out of trouble. It flies comparable to a Axiom Fireball but a bot shorter due to the overstability and has more bit to it. I did loose my motion and replaced with a flare, the flare is more overstable but I think the motion is more useful of overstability.

This a top disc for anyone who throws Thumbers. A medium strength arm can blast it 250+

What a disc! I throw a 172g Plasma plastic version. I may jump up to 175g at some point because I'm thinking I could push a bit more distance before the fade. I feel like the numbers are dead on.

If you're looking for that overstable control driver that you can trust on every throw, the Motion is it. I needed something not quite as stable as a Flare, but more stable than my Elaine King Photon and the Motion fits that slot perfectly.

As people are saying, the Motion is overstable. I'll add that the Motion is overstable in a good way. Thrown at it's recommended speed it flies dead straight, and even in a good headwind it only has the slightest of turn (like, 1' for every 100' of distance) then it has a beautiful reliable forward fade at the end. With the glide factor, this disc will skip if you throw it flat so I usualy put a little hyzer on it so the edge can dig in a bit, especially if I'm using it for OB accuracy reasons.

I use this for every shot that I need a disc to fly straight and then have a good forward fade. Every time. Without fail. Over water, cliffs, rivers, this is the disc that I know won't get lost because of a turnover.

It's a great sidearm disc for all the same reasons. I recently played a tournament where several shots had the river on the left side of skinny tree filled fairways (tree kicks could easily put the disc in the river.) The only guaranteed shots for me were sidearm hyzers over the river, and the Motion did not let me down. It would go straight if thrown flat, would stay on the angle if thrown with a hyzer, and always fade in where I wanted it. I attribute the Motion for my 2nd place finish in the old guy's bracket.

The Motion also is useful for forced anny flex shots, wind fight shots, shots you need to trust, and flare and skip shots when you want something that's not quite as drastic as the Streamline Flare (which by the way is also a staple in my bag, just love the Flare.)

I have four overstable discs that I use all the time, the Entropy, Runway, Flare, and Motion, and the Motion fits that "Firebird" slot perfectly.

Forget about losing this disc due to unexpected turnover.

Beginners would only use this disc for utility because you need a good snap to get some distance, but once you have your technique down, this disc will be your best friend.

Forehand Rollers: I use this for dead straight sidearm rollers quite a bit. Throw it out 25', hit the ground with at barely a hyzer angle, and the thing just goes straight forever before sputtering out. I used this for rollers on several shots last tournament where there would be so many trees guarding the lane to the basket that throwing a disc was an exercise in hope, but my rollers got through every time and I had putts where most other people had to approach again.
