The Trail by MVP is another release in the James Conrad line. The Trail is an official 10-speed driver in the MVP lineup, and is a stable-understable distance driver. As you might expect of a Conrad disc, this driver excels in hyzer-flip drives and turnovers. It is a great shot-shape driver for players at all skill levels.

Ultra straight with a fairly strong fade to finish. I love this disc, and reach for it every single round. I don't have the arm strength built up to turn it over much, despite trying. You can see it try to turn over when thrown flat, but there generally isn't much.

The Trail is my favorite driver! I have a flippy one, stable one, and an over stable one. It has great hand feel and does exactly what I want it to do. The hype is real!!  This disc is amazing. Pay attention to PLH(parting line height) if you're curious about stability. Generally, the domey trails will be flipper, but not always. It's about the PLH. And color does not matter; that's just mythology surrounding a player that's thrown a couple. I have 22 bagger Trails for the course and field work. Gave away about a dozen. And have a bunch of  Transitional Color Swirl Trails for collecting. They are Beauties! Hands down a great 10-11 speed driver. It's kind of beginner friendly; if you can't throw 300 feet, you should be throwing 10 speeds for distance anyway. Try the Trail regardless because it will likely find a place in your game and bag!!!

This is a hype disc for sure, it is great and i do enjoy it but its another case of finding/wearing a disc into being what you want. It is not as simple as throwing a faster Crave; The Trail's that i have thrown had a ton more ambiant stability that needs to be beat out before it becomes that longer Crave. Color also has a major effect on the stability of this disc (eg. Orange/Yellow tends to be the most stable, and the pinks and blues tend to be more mild)

Got this disc from the Open at Austin 25. Thrown it quite a bit and it is definitely a flippy disc. Flips up and flies straight on a hyzer and glides a long way. Easy to throw a turn over but will dump early if you put too much anny on it. Would be great for slower arms.

I wanted to make a review because I recently purchased a second Trail which was noticeably more understable than my first Trail. The more understable one I have is light blue, and straight flying one is yellow-green. Seems odd for such a difference between a stock run, especially coming from MVP! Maybe it's because the Trail was one of the recent discs in their line up designed to have dome.

My son got me this disc for Christmas becuase he knew I was really wanting to try it. Needless to say, it has not disappointed!

I have two of them and they both fly differently. The orange one is much more understable than I expected, but there are times when that kind of a flight is exactly what you're wanting. The red one is very straight/stable. The Trail has glide! It's pretty easy to get distance with this disc because it just wants to keep pushing forward rather than fading out. If you need less fade for a driver, but still get distance, this disc is for you!

It's surprisingly domey for being an MVP disc. I don't typically like domey discs, but I do feel like that's why this one has so much glide. Pick one up today! You won't be disappointed.

The hype is real! I recently picked up one of these Neutron Trails at 168g's and it feels great in the hand. This was my first MVP and gyro disc, so I was excited to toss it around. First, throw RHBH and this thing flew exactly as advertised! Dead straight for about as far as my noob arm can throw. 2nd toss, again, straight for days. I have not tossed a lot of forehands with this, but the low profile and depth would make for nice FH shots as well.  I'm in love! So much so that I picked up a couple more Axiom and MVP discs to give a whirl. I highly recommend this disc for beginners looking to move into the world of distance drivers. 5 stars because I can see myself having this disc in my bag for a long long time!

For me, this is one of the best discs that I have ever thrown! I first picked one up at a store on a reccomendation from the employee when I needed a more understable version of my ESP Vulture (10,5,0,2) and it was the best decision I have made in the 3 years I have been playing disc golf. It is super consistent whether I'm throwing backhand or forehand. Very straight flyer for the wooded courses in my area and also a bomber disc for the open holes! Highly reccomend for any playing style or skill level.

For my girlfriend, this has been a great disc for her only playing for about 6 months. We have both seen immense improvements in her forehand and the Trail has been the most consistent disc for her!!

    170g Neutron Trail

The Trail is the easiest disc I have thrown for straight, accurate, distance. For a beginner like me with a lot of work to do on my form, this disc truly flies like the flight numbers. It really flies like a faster midrange. It holds angles well but will come out of a small anhyzer. But be careful with a flat release if you have a ton of power or are throwing into a headwind because it can turn more than expected and might not come back.

My only negative comment is not the Trail's fault. But I have seen reviews mentioning how this disc completely changed someone's game, which is an unfair expectation. It is a great disc but is not magic. It is an 10 speed and needs to be thrown with appropriate speed. It glides very well, so it might help you add a little distance to your throws. The real benefit is how easy it is to throw straight and accurate without comprimising distance.

Really wanted this to be the straight line, easy-distance disc it's marketed as.  But it's not.  I have to throw it on a pretty severe hyzer to get it to not burn into the ground.  Which would be fine if I had a big arm, but the point of me getting this disc was that I do not.  It's pretty finicky with the release angle, when I need to throw a hyzerflip I just have more consistent discs.  I also thought the distance I could get on this was fine but not special.  I've got it at 172 grams, so it's not like light weight is making it turn over more.

The plastic feels nice in hand, neutron always does.  It's also fairly domey, but it's not an overly soft dome, it feels nice and consistent to grip with your thumb on backhand.  Because it's so flippy, I've never bothered trying to throw it forehand, but I imagine the dome would make it less than ideal.

I really like MVP/Axiom, but this was a dud, at least for me.  Maybe I just got a bad one.

There is a lot of hype around this disc. I'm not sure if it's because I live at elevation or what but it's pretty overstable for me. I've now owned 5 in total varying in domeyness and PLH. I max around 350 feet on the course but average around 330. You likely need a good 350 consequently to get the best flight out of this. I wanted to like it but until I get more power I just bring it out for field tests.

Buy one. If you have the need for a disc that you can throw straight as an arrow for as far as you need or hold any line you want then this is your disc. I think literally anyone could benefit by adding this disc, it is the most consistent point and shoot disc I have ever owned. Hand feel is incredibly comfortable, not too touchy to angle, and it will just keep going. Kinda like an Opto River that you can put some sauce on and go 100' further.

The MVP Trail is advertised as "the longer Crave," and after a couple times out to the course I would have to agree. Yet, this isn't a miracle disc. I am 55-year-old noodle arm who throws his Crave 300', and the Trail goes 330'. Now I appreciate the extra 30', but it isn't the 50' I was hoping for.

The Trail also has a larger s-curve than I expected. So I am putting it at -1.5 1.5 instead of the -1 1 that is listed. It will turn, but will always fade back to center - even in windy conditions. No turning and burning like other stable-to-understable drivers.  I would say that it has thus far shone itself more reliable for me than the Grace, Trace, Wave, and Surge (and reliably 20' further). As such it will become my sole distance driver for the foreseeable future.

    Noodle arm approved.

This is the people's driver!! Very straight for any armspeed. Completely new players will be the only players that quite benefit from this mold. But! They will quickly learn to appreciate the consistency that the Trail is. I think the players that will enjoy this disc the most are the intermediate all the way to the professional level. I know, that's a lot of players.

This disc is for those who throw over 300'. For those who top out around that mark this will be a consistently straight discs with a reliable finish at the end. For those who throw around 400' there is a little flip up that will hold with a softer finish and being one their easiest to throw discs. For the biggest arms out there, this is an absolute game change. Very few discs hold up to the power of a 65mph+ arm speed and still have that mild finish of a midrange. Excellent disc to throw on a rope and I think, the best mold to be released in this year.

This is one of the most amazing discs I've thrown.  It is also one that has spot on flight numbers.  I love throwing the Hex, and this is like the distance driver version of that.  There is just so little turn and fade, it just goes straight.  Whatever angle you put it on is what is stays with.  I am anxious to get mine a little more beat in to get a little more flip, but right out of the box, it is one of my farthest flying discs.  The plastic feels amazing, MVP has figured out how to make great discs that feel perfect.  Get hthis one if you can find it anywhere.

Yep... the most workable, stable distance driver I've ever thrown. Almost goes as far as stable 12 speeds, while being much more straight. It's pretty true to the numbers, but probably not really a 10 speed. Feels great on a forehand or backhand, can handle full power, holds anhyzer while panning out and pushing forward, holds hyzer while pushing forward. Just a really great, straight distance driver that I'm super happy with.

This disc is essentially for everyone. It's a 10 speed, so it still requires a bit of speed to fly straight and bomb, but even if you've got a modicum of speed on your arm, this disc just bombs with ease! I throw this disc on a tiny hyzer and it competes with most of my distance drivers in terms of distance. This disc truly deserves all the hype that it's getting and it truly is the perfect disc for amateurs.

Very nice feeling driver. Not too deep, not too shallow. The rim seems to be a plus mold style, where it is slanted outward a bit, making for easier releases and not trapping your fingers. Flies fast for a 10 speed, maybe closer to 11. Great flight overall though. Long, straight, with a nice consistent finish. Maybe the farthest flying 10 speed I've thrown. Great disc overall for controlled distance. I have some other discs I can throw further, but you can't really go wrong giving this one a try

I don't often buy into the hype that one disc can change your game...but MVP has pulled off some sort of magic. I can't wrap my brain around how they created this disc. In genuinely flies like a neutral putter or mid range but 400+ feet! It flips up just a hint without turning into a roller, but doesn't fall out of the sky on steep hyzer. It will hold any angle you put it on with integrity. This single disc is going to kick 3 or 4 different molds out of my bag, it's THAT versatile! If you're going for a minimalist bag, this could cover your entire 7-11 speed slot with ease. MVP captured lighting in a bottle with this disc.

I bag almost exclusively MVP discs. I've thrown almost every disc in their lineup. This is the best disc they've ever made, and it's not even close. Imagine a disc that you can rip on as hard as you can and won't flip over, with at least a 6 glide, and the flight path of a Hex. This disc goes further than my distance drivers with the control of a midrange. My first round playing with it, I threw it off the tee on 5 holes, and 4 of them were in the bullseye and the fifth was 25 feet out on the hardest hole on the course. It's an amazing forhand disc too. You know that classic "what would you use if you could only bag one putter, one mid, and one driver?" question? Anyone who ever throws this disc will immediately put it in that driver category. I can put it on hyzer and it'll hold it the whole way. I can rip it 4 feet off the ground down a tunnel and it'll glide right up to the basket. I can put a little anny on it, and it'll slowly turn and glide forever, but never burn out. If you're thinking about buying this, stop thinking and buy it. If you're not, then start thinking about it.

In the right hands, I'm sure this disc is all that everyone says it is.  I can't throw it as far as my fission time lapses or even my soft neutron craves and it just dumps hard at the end of its flight. I simply don't throw fast enough for this so I don't agree it's for everyone

The MVP Trail is an impressive addition to any disc golfer's bag, delivering a reliable, straight flight that truly adheres to its flight numbers. This disc cuts through the air with precision, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced players looking for consistency in their throws. The Trail excels in maintaining a straight line, allowing for accurate placement on the course. If you’re searching for a disc that embodies reliability and true-to-spec performance, the MVP Trail should definitely be on your radar!

This disc is truly outstanding!  True to the flight numbers as well, it flew exactly how I hoped it would fly on the first throw.  My absolute max distance is near 400, but I average nowhere near that.  I could almost get rid of all drivers and just use this ... it is that good.  In fact, I just built a mini MVP bag with just two drivers, this and a fission Photon for hyzer/wind/forehand (I forehand up to 350').  I feel like I can hit almost any line with those two discs, so if you want to simplify your game give this a try.  It is quite an achievement to have a disc this workable that flies so far ... it feels like a fairway but gets lots of distance.

THIS DISC! This disc will change the sport! Imagine (if you're not Simon) being able to throw a putter 450! This disc absolutely flies like a Watt, but it's a driver! It's just so fast,  explodes out of the hand,  and I swear you can see it fighting to just go STRAIGHT! This thing seems to be obsessed with holding lines.  The first half dozen times I threw this I just watched in awe! This disc redefines the possibilities in our sport! It has opened up lines on the course not previously even considered! Amazing hand feel, bursts out of the hand like a thoroughbred hitting the track,  flies dead straight,  and as you watch your accomplishment with pride... IT KEEPS GOING! That's the kick here, this thing just won't stop! You'll realize distance and accuracy that us mere mortals never dreamed of! Need a slow panning anny... done! Need a dead straight, low ceiling bomber... check! Need to flex out some huge distance,  but have a tight window... Yep it'll do that too! Oh yeah, if you need a long hyzer that sits up for a second to get around the forest and avoid that 4 foot tall overgrowth you always land in... grab your TRAIL! Better pick up a few,  it'll elevate your game better than any disc I've ever thrown! It's seriously a cheat code in your bag!! The best part is that it's unintimidating for everyone! Beginners will have easy distance with a decent and reliable fade. Intermediate players will have a peice of plastic in their hands that seems like magic,  and advanced players are praying the competition on the course don't have one yet! This one gets my approval!!
