The MVP resistor is described as a slower, overstable fairway driver with more controllable speed. The Resistor has a flat profile that makes it excellent for forehand flicks and overhand shots. The Resistor complements the MVP line of control drivers by providing a more overstable driver than the Shock. Utilizing MVP's GYRO technology, the Resistor will "resist" turn and experience a strong reliable fade. MVP says, "this disc executes accuracy and rangeability like a dream."

This disc in Eclipse plastic is waaaaay overstable. I don't grab for it as much because it's so beefy and gets a lot of ground play. Feels great in hand but could be too beefy for my game.

This disc for me is like a slower Firebird. I use it primarily for forehand shots that I need to get right at the end. I also throw it on flex lines. It is a fun disc and I love it in the eclipse platic for glow rounds. I have not yet been sucessful with backhands with this disc. It seems to be a coin flip with the backhand on this disc. It either flies like I need it to (matching the flight numbers) or it is very overstable and just immediatly starts fading to the left and goes only 150 feet.

This is by far my new favorite disc. I was missing something for 250-290ft and this filled it perfectly. By far the most repeatable shot on any disc I've ever thrown

Resistor is supposed to be flat and my Neutron is that, but the Eclipse 2.0 takes it to the extremes. The center is completely flat from where the edge material ends and this shows in flight.

While I can get the Neutron version to fly straight with end fade, as it is supposed to, there's no flat part with the Eclipse 2.0 - something, which happens to me with Terra. The end fade is way more extreme as well.

The plastic gives good grip and might be durable, but that I can't tell - not yet and maybe never the way it flies. I found the Neutron version very handy in many situations and I got this as backup for that, but these are completely different animals. This may fly as expected with higher arm speed, but that I can't verify.
