The Uplink is a very understable midrange in the MVP line. It's an ideal utility midrange for tailwinds or when you want to hold a short anhyzer line. Alternatively, it's a perfect disc for new players who have difficulty avoiding an early fade.

If you like throwing understable discs, then you'll love the Uplink. Right up there with the Innova Stingray as an S-Tier flippy mid. True to its numbers and flat as a board with a nice low profile that feels great in the hand. Excels at hyzer-flips for easy tunnel shots, will hold anhy for days, and can even be downtempo'd for hyzers. That said, it can be touchy AF when thrown with bad form. If you're the kind of person that releases everything on anny and puts off-axis torque on your shots, this disc will not be nice to you. Even more reason to buy it--it'll teach you things.

NOTE: Review says Neutron but I'm throwing Proton Particle Glow. The latter wasn't an option.

The Uplink was one of the first discs I bought, and continues to be favorite of mine. Throws straight on a hyzer with minimal but predictable fade at the end, and holds long, sweeping anhyzer lines well. I got my first ace with this disc today, so it's going on the wall.

Simply an incredible straight to understable mid range. Very comfortable feel in the hand. Like a buzzz or pathfinder, but for flippier shots. The Axiom Paradox is another favorite of mine, but the Uplink is more reliable, and wont turn and burn as much. The only other disc that competes with it in this slot for me is the innova stingray, but the stingray is very low profile, so this is the gold standard

This is currently my favorite disc. For me, this flies straight as an arrow with a slight fade at the end. Just played a round with this and park it on around 80% of the time. Highly recommended for beginners like me!

This disc is amazing off the tee!! The uplink will flip up straight and go far. I throw consistantly at 220 and with this disc I can get 250 with this. For upshots this is straight and can put it on any line and i will hold the entire way.

Very beginner friendly disc, it's a straight shooter for new players and become an easy turnover disc for a little more advanced players. It makes approaches easy with minimal power to get you by the basket. It is easily my favorite under stable midrange and won't be leaving my bag anytime soon!

This disc is literally perfect for any level of player in disc golf. For beginners it will be point and shoot, dead straight disc and as they advance it will be a good slight hyzer flip disc. For intermediate players this is a great disc for turnovers and pushing hyzer flips in the woods or tight lines. For advanced players it is fantasitc as a disc that will drift from left to right (RHBH thrown) steadily and will not ever try to fade out. You can crush this on hyzer and it will stand up and still turn from left to right the whole way, which is a great tool if you struggle with forehands or turnovers and any other shots that need to move left to right. One of the few discs I have ever thrown that truly has a great purpose at any level of thrower, and that the disc itself is so dynamic between throwers.

This is a fun disc. Beginner friendly as it combats the typical hyzer release of a beginner, but awesome for all skill levels as you can make very technical shots. Doesn't require much power to hyzer-flip and glides for days. This is probably my favorite disc currently for wooded courses.

what a fun disc in the woods, amazing for stand still hyzer flips when you've got no room to step up. The glide is crazy after it flips up, very effortless distance. Great choice for 'smart shots', soft dead straight 250 in a crazy tight fairway instead of taking the risk and trying to bite off more distance

Great midrange for those just starting out. It is SUPER understable. I kept it in the bag for a while, but it didn't fit my hand well enough and it is very finicky. Sometimes it flies like a dream. Others like a nightmare. It is a good disc to teach you angle and power control on either forehand or backhand. It will flip up and over then ride to the right (RHBH) or left (RHFH). Reverse those for lefties. Its a good woods disc and an excellent understable option in the MVP lineup. Sadly, just not for me.

Love this disc especially for the wooded courses. It's also great for me since it doesn't require too much speed. It is a great compliment to the more overstable mid in your bag. I usually give this disc and a putter to beginner friends that come out and play with me.

Great midrange to learn and develop with. You can even get great hyzer flips at heights you'd think it's lost too much speed.

My only CON is that this disc is sensitive. If you are very inconsistent will your arm speed, this disc could either be great throws or could get you into a lot of trouble.

I don't recommend this disc for flip up forehand throws because it won't be able to handle to torque and will turn over unless you are very gentle.

It is almost as understable as the Axiom Paradox. Super understable, but very useful. I like to use it for touch forehand shots within 140 feet of the basket. I have made two forehands from over 100 feet out. You can essentially just aim straight at the chains and throw it flat and it goes straight at the basket until it is within about 15 feet of hitting the ground, then it begins to fade. You can do safe runs with forehands and back hands from these distances and trust that it wont go too far past the basket while running right at the basket straight as can be without fading until the very last second.

It also is very useful for late turnover shots with forehand or back hand. If I need to reach out from a group of trees/bushes and throw what would be a typical back hand line, but I don't have the arm space to throw back hand, I can flick this disc on a hyzer and watch it slowly flip up to flat and continue to turn over without going to a roller.

I also use it for forehand rollers that need to turn left fairly quickly and fall over. This is the best scramble disc I have in my bag when I need creative shots to try to save pars form misplaced drives.

It also gets massive distance when throwing down hill. Through it on a steep hyzer with full power and watch it flip up to flat and begin a slow turn and just keep gliding straight forever before finishing the flight. I was getting farther drives with this disc going down hill than my distance drivers.

    I love this disc.

When I first started, this was one of 3 discs that I received. With my low arm speed, the understability was wonderful to help me get some distance as well as being a reliable straight flying disc for me. I keep this in my bag mainly now for friends that join me for them to use as I now use the Relay for my straight flyer. I can't say enough how great of a beginner disc this is.

The uplink is a very fun disc, but I felt myself always having a hard time actually pulling it out of my bag. It is very understable which makes it an incredible hyzer flip disc and beginner disc, but I've found that it's almost too understable. It flips very quickly even when I throw it with a lot of hyzer and a fan grip. It makes for very fun turnover shots, but that isn't a shot that I actually find myself using all that often.

The uplink does feel very good in the hand. For me that's the most important part of a disc. You can find a hundred different midranges that are super understable, so it's important that it feels good in the hand. It's got a very comfortable shape that's almost fairway driver-esque and as always neutron plastic is easily one of the best feeling plastics on the market.

Overall, I can happily recommend the uplink but only to a few specific groups of people. Beginners will find it to be a great straight flying midrange. People with lower arm speeds will find it to be a perfect hyzer flip disc for tunnel shots or turnovers, and people who don't throw a lot of forehands will find an excellent forehand replacement disc. If you're like me and have decent arm speed and are looking for something that will flip up and turn only a little, the uplink may not be the disc for you though.

Just got this disc and it is definitely understable. I'm still feeling out how hard and how much hyzer I need to throw this disc for a reliable turnover shot. I do like the feel of the plastic and the stamp is beautiful.

Super under-stable. My favorite throw with this disc is to put it on a hyzer with power, which will cause it to start off pretty much dead straight but then have a very hard late turn and suddenly start flying at almost 90 degrees off from it's original course.

I purchased a Paradox firt and will continue to bag it for utility but the Uplink is special. The extra bit of stability makes it more than a utility disc.   It's so good in the woods, not nearly as finicky as the Paradox.  Slightly hyzer in non windy conditions will be straight as an arrow and if you over torque it will have a slight fade or a gentle turnover.  This disc will save you strokes.

I love this disc. It not only looks and feels awesome in the hand, but its an effortless turnover disc. I use it all the time for hitting left-to-right (RHBH) gaps in the woods and for throwing uphill for the same reason.

It isn't ideal for large open holes but works well in wooded courses or awkward positions where you need some turn without a lot of power.

The Uplink is an effortless turnover disc. Great for hitting left-to-right (RHBH) gaps in the woods due to not requiring all that much power to get it flying and turning. Great disc for throwing uphill for the same reason.

I don't throw this disc a ton off the tee on more open courses, as it is pretty easy to overpower. Incredibly useful for scrambling with step-out forehands or patent-pending backhands, the awkward stances don't prevent you from getting enough power behind the disc.

All in all, a great standard midrange for slower arm speeds and controllable touch/woods/scramble disc for faster throwers.

This thing flys great on half power. Straight and true. Put a little hyzer on it and it turns over when you need it to. I've hit trees dead on with this and the neutron plastic holds true. I throw this at high altitudes (6,000') and it flys as smooth as butter. I bag one and I'm currently ordering one for my wife.

After a few outings with the Uplink, I'm for sure making this a main stay in my bag. Doesn't take much power to get the desired flight path out of the disc. Easy to overpower since it is a mid range disc, but it is perfect for wooded courses! I would recommend this disc to anyone who wants to add some more interesting flight paths with their midranges.

Best comparison I can think of is the Comet, but with a little more distance capability. If you're one of those that don't enjoy the beaded rim feel of the Comet, the Uplink is a perfect replacement.

Would highly recommend this disc, it will be a regular in my bag!

I have loved throwing the Uplink over the last week or so and I figured I would give some details on its flight.

The first thing I would like to mention is that it is not quite as understable as the numbers would make you think. The disc reads 5/5/-3/0.5, but I put it closer to a 5/5/-2.5/1. You still can get awesome turnover lines, and this disc will burn on you if you try to muscle it with improper height and angle, but it is not a complete flip machine.

When thrown smooth with about 60% power I can get a really straight flight from a small hyzer flip. When thrown flat with the same power I achieve a beautiful, slow-panning turnover shot. When the power level is increased it will turn even more. It is a remarkably workable disc.

If you are in the market for a disc that is a compliment to your straight/stable midrange that you can get some turn with, this is the disc for you. My midrange lineup is now complete and I can cover every shot I need with this, a Buzzz, and a Quake.
