The Marlin is a great disc to learn hyzer flips. Highly recommend for someone just getting into disc golf.

The Marlin has to be one of the most fun discs in disc golf.  If you're first getting started or have slower arm speed this disc will help you get more distance on your shots.  The cool thing is that as you get faster arm speeds it becomes a really nice hyzer flip disc and even a roller disc for some.  I peronally love this disc because it still has a really nice amount of glide and can honestly compete for longest distance in my bag.  Flight numbers are definitely accurate as this very much is an understable fairway that will turn over if thrown too hard or with torque.  

The Marlin is a fantastic beginner driver. This disc is really easy to get good distance with at low arm speed. The -4 turn rating is legit if you have adequate power, but for those that don't the Marlin is nice ans straight. Pearl plastic is really nice and "pearly" it glistens nicely in the sun and has decent grip to it. This is the perfect driver for a starter set.
