The D6 is a high-speed, understable driver. It is designed for players of all levels for maximum distance. The D6 will flip up when thrown hard, turn towards the understable side, then go into an extremely long glide, with a gentle fade at the end. The D6 is also a great disc for long, controlled rollers.

This versatile plastic is great for entry level players looking to get into the game, as well as advanced & professional players who love to fine tune their discs by working them in just the way they like. The feel of this plastic brings a new dimension to the Prodigy line-up. Similar to 300 Series plastic, but with less grip, the 200 Series plastic stands on its own.

Alright, so if you are a frequent reader of my reviews, you know I enjoy Prodigy discs, but I was late to try out the D6 because of how flippy I heard it was. But right before a tournament I lost my go to roller, so I threw a D6 in the bag, and I have fallen in love! I absolutely love the 200S D6 for roller and big turnover shots. The one I have been throwing is marked at 174g, and yes, it is flip city. But it isn't too ridiculous, and it holds a roller line so well.

An unexpected element of my love for this disc is the 200S plastic. I don't throw base line drivers very much, especially high speed ones, but the 200S D6 feels so nice, and I have so much confidence in my grip.

I will mostly use this disc for rollers, but there were a few awesome sky turnovers that were just fun to throw. I definitely don't have the biggest arm, but I definitely had to release this disc on a steep hyzer to keep it from turning and burning. But long story short, this disc has totally found a slot in my bag. I would recommend it to any disc golfer!

I'm a little late to the Prodigy party, but I must drop in here and say that the D6 is quite the fun disc! I'm a big fan of flippy distance drivers, so I enjoyed this one. When thrown full speed it definitely flips over, so if you don't want it to roll you'll have to air your shot out a bit. This thing holds some big anny lines for a long time and slowly rotates out to fade at the end.

As for rollers, this is a great one! When I threw it I was worried it might be so flippy that it would just roll over and not even go straight, but I was pleasantly surprised at how straight this thing rolled for quite the distance! The key for me was to let it make contact with the ground at a good steep angle, then it would stand up and go forever.

So if you're looking for a great roller or for a big flippy distance driver that doesn't have a weird D5 rim, check this out. (It almost has the opposite of a D5 rim, it has a little tiny pronounced bump in the rim, but nothing that bothered it with my grip.)

The Prodigy D6 in 200 plastic actually IS very understable, even at 174g. This is only the second Prodigy Distance driver I've thrown that's actually undertable for my mediocre arm speed. The other understable Prodigy driver I've thrown was a D3 in 350 plastic, and that thing would bomb before it got uncontrollably understable.

My first throw with the 200 plastic D6 didn't seem too understable, but then it a blade of grass or something on the wide open field and that was enough to take it into the official "very understable" category.

The 200S D6 reminds me of when I tried the Westside King in Orgio plastic. It went through for a few throws, and then become too un controlobly flippy.

While this disc is now too understable for me to throw consistently, it's at about perfect uNlace like stability for a new player who throws less than 300 feet. I'd highly recommend this for new players who want an inexpensive disc that will get them more distance.
