Reviewing in 400 plastic- this disc shocked me with how good it is. I was hesitant to try it because I figured it was beefy, going by prodigy's system of 1 being the most stable. It is overstable, but it also has plenty of glide. It is also very accurate, flies far, and the 400 plastic is great for grip and durability, without being too stiff. Like someone else here said- this thing is a tank. It handles tons of power and has a great reliable fade, making for consistent drives and approaches. Phenomenal stable to overstable mid

Not the stable mid you are looking for in 400 plastic. I imagine that it would be more stable in their more premium plastics but in 400 it is not stable.

This midrange is in my bag as my furthest flying midrange and as an overstable one. Can be used to throw forehand and a backhand with no bead. The disc is very similar to the buzzz os. I'd say the difference is that the m1 can fly farther plus is more accurate. Id go for the 400 plastic or a x out since the 4oo plastic has such a great feel.

The M1 is my go to midrange disc. You can crank on this thing and it goes straight for a while and then hooks up. When I bought it I was looking for a beadless champ rocx3. Although its a little less overstable than the rocx3 it goes further. The 400 plastic has more grip than champion and is as durable. If you throw this disc on anhyzer it will not really flex back but will flatten out. The M1 sticks its landing and does not skip, has a low profile and feels good in the hand.

This one isn't as over stable as I thought it would be but a great disc none the less. Will turn slightly with a full power throw but won't flip over completely. Great for controlled upshots.

I have had a 180g 400s M1 in my bag for about 2 years and rely on it all the time. I cant remember a round in the last 2 years that I haven't used this disc at least a few times. Reliably overstable. It seems like the harder you throw it, the farther it stays straight before it fades. Havent seen any HST on full power throws. If you are looking for something that is a brutal meat hook, this might not be the disc you are looking for. Thrown on a hyzer line it can make some great, long hyzer shots, but no meat hook. Consistently fades out.

As this disc beat in over a couple of years I decided to add a 750 M1 180g and it works as a great compliment to my older 400s M1. The 750 M1 is almost a year old now and it is like a brand new M1 all the time. Has more fade, handles forehand shots better, but can still rip it for some long distance mid shots. Love having both discs for different situations. Prodigy Mids are the way to go.

This disc is a tank. It has the same flight pattern wind or not. One of my more reliable mid ranges.

Being a RHFH thrower mostly, I was not throwing a midrange disc until I purchased this disc. Right out of the mailbox, I could throw this disc with a FH and have it fade back to the right with reliability and consistency. It flies a straight true line, then fades to the right on a FH easily. It isn't a meat hook for me, so the fade isn't a strong as other overstable discs with my arm speed and strength. If you're looking for a reliable midrange with consistent fade, then this disc is the one you want to get.

Before I go into this review I should let you know that I have a prototype of this disc in the 400S plastic. So it may vary slightly in flight and durablility.

I picked this disc up from my local shop and have thrown it for little over week. (Usually I don't review a discs unless I have more time using it and getting use to it) I got it in hopes it would be a little more over stable than my Roc3. As far as I could tell they flew very similarly. The Prodigy M1 did feel better in my hand and more consistant.

Today at a tournament I was throwing warm ups and knicked it into a handrail. I did not think I hit it very hard but when I got to my disc there was a chunk missing about a quarter inch around on the rim, and pretty deep. It was also 34 degrees out so I'm sure thats why this happened, but nether the less it is quite upsetting. I probably wont be picking up any more prodigy disc till the warmer months.

I've had this disc for a while now 175g 400 plastic didn't like it much at first, but now its breaking in nicely ( but still looks new) and it is one of those disc that does the same thing every time, throw after throw it is overstable but is consistently overstable you can count on the flight of this disc every time and in the end knowing what a disc is going to do is a good thing, plastic is tough as nails and feels good..will be staying in the bag..

over the last few months i have been trying to ( reinvent) my disc golf bag. I had some very old disc in my bag and it has been a challenge trying to find the perfect replacement for each disc. the one i have had the most difficulty replacing is my old innova hammer ( ontario mold) this is my very favorite disc ever and has been in my golf bag since at least 1995. the M1 is the 4th stable/overstable mid range i have picked up in the last couple of months attempting to replace this disc and i am very happy to say the M1 is the disc that will replace my ontario hammer. the M1 when thrown with some power has a dead stable flight with a very solid and dependable fade at the end of its flight. when thrown hard with an anhyzer angle the M1 glides out to the right then flexes back strongly left. this disc is very consistent and dependable, the 400 series plastic is absolutely sweet grippy hand candy. im not a young man by any means so i don't have the greatest arm speed anymore but i can consistently throw this disc in the 250 to 280 range and expect in time i will throw it considerably farther. this is a great disc for experienced players. if you need a mid range driver that you can absolutely rip off the tee without fear of turning it over even into a strong head wind, then the M1 is for you.

This is the Prodigy disc I've been waiting for! After all the hype, a disc that comes through! First things first, I am a RHBH thrower and I tend to put a lot of vigor into my throws. With that being said I tend to prefer more overstable discs since they won't turn and burn on me. I have slowly been able to learn how to "flex" or control all of my overstable discs to make them perform in different situations. After trying Prodigy's big OS driver the D1 and finding it lacking, I was apprehensive to take on the M1, but I'm so glad I did. Right off the bat the disc feels great in the hand, firm yet pliable and grippy. I threw a few test runs with it with medium low power and it had a meat hook flight path, out a little then a hard fade to the left. After a few throws I decided to let her rip and boy was it beautiful! This disc flew dead straight for about 250' then had a very nice healthy fade at the end! Just what I wanted! I then proceeded to play an entire 18 with only this disc.

Besides the predictable and consistent fade what I have really come to love about the M1 is how it "flexes". I will throw this disc with a lot of power on a slight anhyzer angle and it will pop out to the right, glide forever, then ALWAYS fade back with the same fade it had on the very first throw. I can throw this flex shot into head wind without a second thought and it performs the same every single time (which is more than I could say for the D1). Not only does it flex great and fade predictably, but this thing has some serious glide. I can throw this disc about as far as many of my fairway drivers, much farther than my DX Roc, Ti Buzz. It rivals the distance I get out of my Westglide Warship (you see what I did there? Westglide, not Westside...?). So in short it is great off the tee.

I really can not say enough good about this disc. It has shelved all my Roc's and my Drone. On the note of comparisons, I would say that this disc is what a Drone wants to be when it grows up. It is also throws like a more polished and smooth Trident. Pro's: the plastic feels great, the flight path is consistent and true, this thing glides for days, beautiful flex shots, all purpose disc. Con's: not beginner friendly, that's about it. I would recommend this disc to anyone who likes overstable discs and can put a nice flex on them to get different flight paths. I would not recommend this for begginers as it take a lot of power to get it up to speed to fly straight, but once you've mastered your Roc or Gator, give it a try.

First off, I love the feel of the series 400 Prodigy plastic. Its grippy, comforable, and seems like it will be very durable. The M1 is a tall bulky disc with a deep rim. It gives you something to hold onto, which I like. When thrown with power, the M1 has a long straight flight path with a pretty substantial end of flight fade. I'm not sure if its the easy release rim, or the disc shape, but the Prodigy mids seem to fly farther than any other mid range discs I've tested.

These are great short distance driving discs, and I am very comfortable throwing it both backhand and forehand. The one disadvantage I've found from Prodigy mid range discs so far is that they tend to lay up vertical and roll away easily. Not the disc you want to use for laying up by the basket on a hillside.
