Love this putter. I have a 400 proto ice clear, flies great but tough to find in an open field. Buying a 300s one next to grab the chains better bc the 400 likes to slip out of the basket. My go to for approach shot that need any sort of shaping. Love it. Would recomend to anyone who has a tendency to throw puts on an anny line. Very similar to gateway magic putter

I have been playing disc golf for about a year and 3 months. I have a proto PA4 in 400s plastic, 171g, lilac color with a copper stamp. I love the 400s plastic, the feel of it is just so great! The rim is like a regular putter, with no bead. I can really dig my fingers into the rim for a great grip. I love this disc for approaching and long putting! I have made so many long putts with this that I could never think about even getting close to before. I have even made some that I was intending on laying up because they were 50+ feet away. I threw these from a backhand approach instead of a normal putting stance. But it went dead straight to the chains and stuck. I have been able to layup with great accuracy for drop in or really short putts. My scores have dropped greatly since I started dialing in with the PA4. When I throw this disc either with a hyzer or flat, it goes right where you would expect it to. It doesn't seem to roll away as much as my MVP Anode, which I generally use for short putts. It is sensitive to the power you put on it, and when you use it enough you know exactly how much juice to put on it to get it where you need it.

Update: This disc is even better in the 300s plastic! WOW, this thing is a chain seeker! I had to get a few for my bag! Long putts getting SUNK with this thing!

I would definitely recommend this disc to anyone! It is super easy to throw, super straight, and a great approach and long putt disc! You won't be sorry for trying this disc!!

First off, I don't like this disc for actual putting. I like softer more flexible putters that offer more grip. Perhaps when Prodigy comes out with different plastics, this will make a good putter. The first day I attempted using my PA-4 was really windy. After one throw that took off on me, I was scared to take it out of my bag again. Fortunately I was able to test it out today on a nice calm day and was pretty impressed with it. Where the PA-1 does come in handy is for short downhill drives where you don't want the disc to fade much. The PA-4 is what it says it is, an understable putt and approach disc (I'll focus on the approach, and use other putters to rattle the chains).

This disc is pretty straight to understable. Not very torque resistant so it helps to have smooth throws. This disc isn't like a driving putter that can be thrown hard without fear of turning over, but it can be very versatile on turnovers and hyzer flips.

One of my favorites of all time, this beautiful blunt goes much straighter than most and can really handle a lot of throwing power.  Also one of my favorite turbo putters ever made, right alongside the berg.  Nothing wrong with backhand putting this disc either, but to be fair I will say I'm never really inclined to flick these.  They aren't for that though.  I have many memories of some of my finest shots with these things, just giving them everything I've got and blasting shots just over 300 on lazers.  Love or hate prodigy, this is definitely their best mold in my book and most worthy of your hard earned cash.

The PA-4 may not be as popular as its other PA-series cousins, but it is a great throwing putter that compliments the line really well! It has a stright to understable flight, that is incredibly controllable in the woods. The hand feel is similar to the rest of Prodigy's putters, so you'll feel right at home throwing it off the tee. Pick one up!

I have this disc in opaque 400 plastic, 174 grams. Feel is very good. I prefer medium to shallow putters and this is one fits the bill. Bought in premium plastic, best use is for driving. Wouldn't putt with it as it's a bit slicker, probably won't grab the chains very well. Plastic is medium to firm but grippy enough. Very nice.

Flight is very straight, I think the numbers are pretty spot on. Not much turn or fade.

The only downside for me is that the glide isn't as high as I would prefer. It seems other putters glide a bit better. I think the 3 for the glide rating is probably right though. Better glide I would give it 5 stars. I think it's slightly less predictable as some other putters as well.

Good disc, not my favorite though.

I have an 8-10 year old 400S Pa4 in the bag and its a gem. The best flippy putter I have ever thrown and the plastic has held up very well. Out of the box, it can be stable and it takes forever to beat in, making it easier to learn and eventually master.

I use the PA-4 as my main putter for anywhere inside of 50'. It flys super straight as a putter inside of that distance. Outside of that with a little more speed behind it, it can be used to hold anhyz lines, or flip up if thrown with a slight hyzer. I've thrown about 20 different PA-4s of this plastic, and they all fly very consistantly. I love the feel of this series of plastic, and it lends to a solid grip, and such a smooth release for putting. The disc doesnt have a bead, which I like. I feel I have complete control of the flight of this disc. I would absolutely recommend it.

I have a 174g 400s PA-4 that I use mostly for a driving and approach putter, not for actually putting. Thrown hard it will turn over and hold that turnover line all the way to the ground. With that said you can put some hyzer on it and it will flip up to flat and hold until it mildly fades out. Great get-out-of-trouble disc when in the woods and need a backhand anhyzer shot to get out. 400s plastic breaks in well after extended use, would definitely recommend this disc to anyone. I dont throw it on every hole, but there are many that i do throw it on.

This is a great understable putter.  Feels comfortable, and the plastic options are excellent.

I prefer the Pa4 in 400 as I mainly use it for short range understable shots or finese shots that need to be very straight.

Holds anhyzer well, hyzer-flips to flat well.  Depends on the plastic and weight.  i have a 172 300 Pa4 that is more US than my 174 400.

    great disc.

im really loving my 170 pa 4 . the 400 plastic has a great grippy feel and just looks sweet. i dug around through piles of disc to compare this to some other putters, what i found is this disc is identical to the gateway magic, however this disc works for me and i never had any luck with a magic. i have been using a vibram sole for putting and i really like it but it has a fairly significant end of flight fade that has cost me making some putts over 20 ft , this disc solved that issue for me, it just goes straight , right into the chains and you gotta love that

I got my first PA4 at a Prodigy PAR2 even that I went to. It is in the as yet unreleased to the public 750 plastic for this model. I know other discs are out in the 750, but I yet to find on anywhere in 750. I quickly purchased another one, but in the 400s plastic, and it is a Proto disc as well, so that may affect it's flight somewhat but not from what I've seen.

The PA4 is the perfect putter for those who want a straight flying putter that can be put on a hyzer or anhyzer line if needed and will hold it. When releasing the disc in a consistent form, it will make its way to the basket on the line you put it on. From distances over 30', you will see some of the turn and fade, but it is like a nearly straightened S flight in those cases. The 400s plastic is grippy and has an excellent feel to it, and is very durable. I've had many basket bangers and band music on my putts, and it hasn't scuffed or gouged at all.
