The Stari is quite understable, and the closest disc we can think to compare it to would be the Paradox from Axiom. It is however VERY fun to throw! Hit it hard on hyzer and watch it flip up and over and glide for ages while holding turn. Also an awesome disc for those patent pending shots when a flat release is a little more tricky, or if you need to air bounce under a tree limb. I also have recommended to newer/lower arm speed players as well, as it will achieve a very straight flight for them and unlock sneaky distance for a midrange.

Awesome disc - reminds me of a Star Coyote - in both feel and flight.  I was glad to find it because Coyotes are getting more and more difficult to find.

As with all Prodiscus discs, the plastic is amazing. Ultrium and Premium are both fantastic, grippy plastics. I had a hard time finding a use for this disc in my bag. It's very understandable. Even releasing on hyzer it ends up turning over.

I could see it being useful for beginners and powered down shots. Everybody's different, so what doesn't work for me could work great for someone else. The disc feels great in the hand, and given the quality of the plastic, I'd recommend the Stari to beginners.

As a beginner, I was throwing a number of different straight-flying mid range discs to find which actually flew the straightest for me. The Stari, by far, flew the straightest with tremendous glide. As I've started to learn to shape shots a bit, this disc is proving to do exactly what I want it to do. I'm adding a couple more to my bag...just in case.

5-stars because this disc is delightful. I play a lot of one-disc rounds, and this disc is one of my favorites for that, because it will truly do anything--if I'm super careful.

This disc is a bit faster than its factory #s, and much more understable--like its turn should listed as -3, or even a -5. It hardly fades at all. I wrote '6, 4, -2, 0' on the bottom of my disc, since Prodiscus doesn't print its numbers. But that -2 is at low power.

This might be a good beginner disc, but not for a strong-armed beginner, because it seems to blow-up easily if given too much power. If I carried a bag and multiple discs, this would absolutely be my 'go right' disc. (I don't do rollers, because I mostly play on deep forest courses, so can't comment on that.) Ultrium feels very similar to Kastaplast's K1 (as in, awesome).

I'm a RHBH thrower--and my arm is not very fast. My max drive with Captain or Thrasher is just over 350. My new-ish Ultirum, 168g STARi, is the only disc out of the 50 that I own, that if I throw it on an anhyzer, it'll go hard to the right, and just keep going that way. If I want to curve left, well, I'll throw it on a VERY steep hyzer, like vertical, and it'll go left. Mostly, I throw this disc at about 70% power, with a moderate hyzer, and it flips beautifully to flat, drifts slightly right, then barely fades left before plopping down, about 200~250ft away.

But if I forget what I'm throwing, and really 'launch' this thing at my max power (which is not so maxy) this thing will climb hard into the sky, like a rocket (there needs to be another rating number, based on how hard a disc will climb, if thrown hard. Maybe that's just the vertical dimension of Turn, but it seems different). Meanwhile, this disc will be turning hard to the right, and then it will glide off somewhere far away to the right--way, way out-of-bounds. But no other disc that I own CAN go right like that--so it's a hoot for one-disc rounds.

Here's a vid to show the disc's profile:

This disc is incredibly understable. Living in Colorado, discs will fly much more stable than they do at lower elevations. This disc turns very quickly out of the hand so I usually back off on it quite a bit. Throwing 50% power, this will turn reliably and glide to the right for a RHBH throw. Great disc to learn proper form as it will not hide any mistakes. Can't wait to use it in the woods.

First and for most as I've stated before on the RPM Pawakawaka I love understable Mids. The Prodiscus Stari is an absolute blast to throw. It was a rare moment of as soon as i grabbed I knew it felt right. The feeling in the hand is top notch. The prodiscus Ultrium plastic is grippy, flexible, and seems to be durable as well. Prodiscus and Kastaplast has some amazing plastic.

The flight of the Stari is understable and the flight numbers seem fairly accurate. When thrown flat with touch it does get a nice amount of turn with minimal fade. This disc flies amazing if you give it the air the glide. The Stari has became a go to in wooded tunnel shots. I love to throw RHBH hyzer flips and this disc stands up and glides for days.

I throw a lot of forehands and this certainly is not a disc I would choose for that shot. Unless im throwing a soft turnover that I need to hold the angle until the end of flight.

The Stari is not a disc for high power throwers who are looking to crank on a disc. It most certainly turn and burn for some players with very high power. I can throw my mids 300 and it hyzer flips excellent for me. If you throw mids 350 or 400 it may be to flippy. This disc is incredible for touch shots and especially for shots that you need to move to the right (RHBH).

This disc has earned a solid spot in my bag. I do not want to face the woods without it. If you enjoy understable mids please get this disc. Give Prodiscus a chance and you wont be disappointed with the plastic quality.

I got this in Ultrium plastic as I absolutely love my Jokeri I got on sale in the same plastic. It's simply the best plastic on the market in my opinion with a great mix of durability and grippyness.

This disc does exactly what it says: It goes right. Release it on a slight hyzer or flat and this bad boy will fly like a reverse flight buzz or compass fading right steadily (RHBH) before settlling with minimal fade back to the left. This is absolutely not a disc for power shots though, I would not advise trying to power drive this disc unless you are looking for a big, uncontrolled roller. Given light speed and a bit of anhyzer this makes for a great disc for those dogleg right shots that those of us who can't really throw forehand always hate. 5/5 stars for doing exactly what it says, but it might not be for everyone.
