The Kahu is a great high-speed driver with gentle turn, good glide, and a hard fade. It also works wonders as a forehand disc with a low profile and great feel on the rim.

I'm moving into intermediate territory, and am just starting to experiment with distance drivers.  For me, on a downhill throw, hovering close to the ground, it went straight with a slight fade at the very end of the flight, getting to about 400ft.  Higher off the ground it would have likely faded much more. I wouldn't throw this on a flat, it's still too much disc for me (a 10spd opto Sapphire works well for me there).  For my moderate armspeed, the 11spd (Proton) Jet goes just as far on the same throw, but with an S-shaped flightpath (atm the Jet is my new favorite, but I think the Kahu is a disc I can grow into over time, especially after the Jet beats in and becomes too flippy).

I'm rating the Kahu as a 14spd, because that's what it is, with it's 24mm rim.

This is very much a Destroyer clone, which, given its popularity, is almost a requirement for a disc golf company to have. I would probably say I prefer the Apex to either this or a Destroyer, but if you have the arm speed, definitely give it a whirl.

The cosmic plastic is very nice, and feels good in the hand

This is a great driver if you have the power to put behind it. It's one of my longest throwing discs at about 350 feet on a really good throw. I have to put a little anhyzer on it because my arm is not as strong as many and it levels out and glides a good distance before fading. Looking forward to getting it beat in so I can flip it up to flat.

Absolutely love this disc, it is  currently one of my favourite discs.  For me it flys' extremely consistent, it is very stable with more fade than my destroyer. It works fantastic in the wind. Just played at a extremely windy tournament and it was my go to disc lot of the time. Once again RPM plastic cosmic feels great  slightly more softer than the atomic and its a thrill to use. Not beginner friend due to the speed needed to get the disc to fly but if you have a good arm this disc could be the next main stay in your bag.

I won a 170-171 Cosmic Kahu at a tournament in Queenstown and I was instantly impressed with it's flight. It behaved almost identical to my star boss for the first few months. As of now it is not nearly as stable, but I use it for gentle turnovers between 350-400. It executes them perfectly and never flips. Wouldn't recommend for someone who throws less than 300.

Love the grip and the look on this disc, comparable flight to the Discmania DDX. I was consistently getting about 15 feet farther with the Kahu. With a little Anhyzer on a RH forearm throw, the disc would travel straight with about a 5-7 feet fade to the right. On a RH backhand throw it tended to fade left faster.  Great feel to the disc, easy to hold onto and control.
