The Drift is the third disc introduced into the Streamline lineup. This fairway driver is very controllable and usable by players of all skill level. Newer players will find that the Drift provides laser-straight lines that end with a gentle fade. Experienced players will love using the Streamline Drift for straight line hyzer flip shots and long anhyzer turnover throws.

As much as I like this disc (like almost every Streamline disc), it doesn't really fit the numbers it's listed as. It is a great, straight flying fairway driver, with a pretty consistent fade at the end. It will usually flip up for me on hyzer, and get a little turn when thrown flat. Not an understable disc, in my experience, instead I would call it neutral. All that to say, I would recommend this to anyone, with a good warning about throwing it to see how it flies instead of looking at the numbers.

The Drift is one of my top 5 favorite discs. I have it in Proton (167g), Neutron (170g), and Cosmic Neutron (160g). It's a great understable-ish fairway that I think anyone could find a use for.
Some may like it, some may hate it, but one thing to note is that depending on the plastic, the Drift can be a completely different disc (I like having the same feel with different flights). The Proton flies surprisingly stable for me (And I've had it by far the longest, hitting countless trees), the Cosmic Neutron is flies less stable than the Proton (Mine is flatter than the others, but I've noticed this with other discs in CN), and the Neutron is definitely the flippiest and is great for Hyzer flips.
No matter the plastic, the Drift is beautifully glidy. I use it mostly for backhands, but will also pull it out when I need to scramble in the form of a stand up FH roller.

All in all, a great disc that will go farther than a lot of 9 speed drivers.

My Neutron Drift flies dead straight, or maybe with a little bit of turn, whether it's thrown backhand or forehand. However, unlike the description on this page, once it slows down, it hyzers to the ground faster than almost any disc in my bag.

I've found this shot shape to be very useful sometimes, and it gets great skips if I need my disc to skip after hyzering, but I definitely wouldn't describe the fade as gentle.

Has never left my bag after getting one last year. Great feel on the rim, Neutron is super comfortable to grip and rip. It's a straight flier with a gentle fade at the end. I have a 170 I have been working in and a 174 in Proton which is slightly more stable. If the Buzzz was a fairway driver it would be the Drift. One of my all-time favorites. Recommend.

Have a 168g Neutron Drift and it's my go to driver unless there's a headwind. It's got just the right amount of turn to get some easy distance but still enough stability to keep the accuracy great. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a slightly understable to straight driver.

I have been searching for a 7 speed fairway driver with similar flight characteristics to some of the faster understable drivers I have enjoyed such as a Sphinx or Vulcan, and I think the Drift fills that slot quite nicely. Similar to Star or S-Line, the Neutron plastic takes a little bit of time to break in and achieve that desired amount of understability, but even fresh out of the box, this disc was allowing me to throw long anhyzers (250-300') that held their angle consistently landing nearly flat. The Drift is a great 7-speed that will allow me, when needed, to disc down from some of those favorite faster discs of mine, and gain control and accuracy on the fairway.

This is a very nice fairway driver that will hold most angles. Put some juice on it and you can get a nice hyzer flip to S-turn shot, perfect for tight wooded lines. Will hold a turnover for 80% of its flight, straight out of the box, before coming out of it and finishing flat. For a comparison I think that this is very similar to a TeeBird or a more stable Insanity. I have tried a 165g as well as a lighter 154g version, the lighter one goes very far with minimal effort, but is susceptible to over turning when you really put some heat on it the heavier one is perfect for me. I cannot wait to see how these season.

Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice straight to understable fairway driver!

    Neutron - 171g

I throw 350 max and I can throw this than far. Perfect for moderate power players to hyzer flip, or long turn overs. This is my favorite disc. It gets me. It wants to work for you. Glides like a dream. I have average size hands and it fits perfectly. Best for int/adv players looking for a US fairway. For the price, just get one.

Drifts are amazing.  Very glidey, straight fairway.  Neutron plastic feels great, especially after some use.  Drifts are very straight in tailwinds and have a very controllable flip in no wind.   Great for hyzer flips.  This was the first disc I ever owned that I was impressed with how far it went.  These can be thrown 350 very easily.  Great first driver for beginners after basic form has been developed.

Neutron has got to be my favorite plastic of them all. Tacky, Gummy but stiff. Rubbery but smooth. Dirt doesn't seem to stick to this plastic as much as other similar discs from other manufacturers.

The Drift itself is simply a quintessential frisbee. I'm not going to say it's any better or worse than a Leopard or other straight n'slow fairways. The Drift holds its lines and handles wind decently with no surprises. I've been throwing it 300 feet on a frozen rope, both backhand and forehand consistently. But that plastic though.... fantastic!

The Drift is a great next driver for people getting too much flip out of their starter-pack Leopards. If this is where your skill level is, I'd recommend a weight in the high 160s to help make the transition even easier. On a flat release, folks getting a reliable 300' of power on their fairway drivers will still see some decent turn but also good enough fade at the end to end up nearly straight. I bag this in the same slot as a Maverick or a beat-in FD. The glide is comparable to either of those discs without being anything sensational, and a fresh one fights out of anhyzer lines a bit faster than the numbers would suggest.

Regarding plastics, my experience has been that Cosmic Neutron tends to be stiffer (and consequently often domier) than regular Neutron. This has been true with the Lifts I've thrown as well, so it seems to be a result of the plastic blend and not inconsistent runs. The dome doesn't throw off too much, and actually seems to get a bit more glide, but I do prefer Neutron in cold weather or situations where you need the extra control.

This is another very usable disc from Streamline, available in attractive designs and consistently good plastics. I look forward to seeing how these beat in over a few seasons.

The drift is becoming a go to fairway driver for me and is plenty good off the tee for a lot of holes as well. I've spent a lot of time with dx leopards and hyzer flipping them but as my form has improved I find I need a disc that can handle a little more speed but still provide nice controllable lines. The drift fits the bill for me and i really like the way it feels in my hand, at least in neutron plastic. I'll have to see how it beats in but I'm thinking Streamline did well here. My first Eagle was a throw in with a neutron drift.

proton drifts seem to be more stable than neutron. Very straight flying disc with moderate power and reliable turn and fade when throw with some more power.

My favorite disc!  Being older (68) and with shoulder and back issues, this is an excellent distance driver for me.  I can throw this disc further than any of my other discs (20+).  It's definitely a big step up from my Leopard.  I can't throw it quite hard enough to get a turnover, so it goes very straight for me.  I am also more consistent with this disc than any of my other discs.  It has an excellent feel and grip in the neutron plastic. It also seems easier to keep the nose down.  I can't imagine why any normal thrower would give this disc less than 5 stars.

My max weight Neutron Drift is slightly more understable than my max weight S-Line FD, so I use it for when I need more of an s-curve. The drift has a nice sweeping s-curve if given a fair amount of power, or powered down for a nice straight flight path with a soft fade. I can give it some power and it will curve around the trees and fade back just enough to keep from going too far right.

If you are in the market for a solid, understable fairway driver, I would put this one up there with the best of them. I switch this and the FD out depending on the course. If I am on a course with holes that need a little more turn on the flight, I replace the FD and put this one in the bag.

I wish this had been my first disc - it's incredible. If I give it a solid 75 to 80% throw it will go LASER straight for like 240 feet and barely fade at the end. It probably makes a difference that I'm playing around 4600 feet, and most discs don't have an overpowering amount of turn up here.

On any shot where I've got a tunnel and need to throw something on a frozen rope, this is it. I nearly aced a 220 foot tunnel shot just giving it a decent but not incredibly hard toss, and the disc surprisingly kept floating straight right past the basket, ending up 15 feet past it. Get one, I bet you'll love it.

    -- UPDATE --

I got my first ace with the Drift! The hole was about 225 feet and tucked behind some trees. I got it to turn out to the right around the trees, then it faded back and smashed dead center into the chains. I knew this was my favorite disc for a reason.

This disc is awesome.  It took some time to say this, but I REALLY LOVE THIS DISC.  At first I had a few nose-down episodes with this disc but have had great results sculpting shots with this fairway driver after I got used to the understable ratings.  This disc throws great anhyzer spikes (RHFH) and holds the line it's thrown on.  I wish I could criticize this disc more objectively but I think this disc is a great all around flyer and have had excellent rounds since I bagged this disc.

First and foremost I want to thank Infinite Discs for making this my mystery disc!!! This thing if the perfect compliment to my MVP shock and is fulfilling a role in my bag that I never even knew I had. It flies in a beautiful S-line and has become a staple for navigating the tight wooded fairways of NC. Not only can I crush this thing but I also get a super predictable flight path. The neutron plastic also feels really great in the hand and allows me to have a consistent release no matter the conditions.

S turn without the dump and burn. Doesn't hyzer flip as easy as I thought it would. The very reliable flight pattern of this disc makes it predictable and great to work with. S lines are definitely the Drift's forte.

This is an excellent fairway driver that can give you great distance and control. A great first driver for a beginner as well. The rim feels great in the hand, neutron plastic is bright and beautiful and also feels great. This disc is very much like the discmania FD for me and the FD is one of my favorite discs. This is a point and shoot when thrown flat and it will hit straight tunnels if you need it to. This disc is not as understable as the flight numbers suggest for me, I feel it is more of a -1 turn. I would recommend this disc if you are looking for a stable/understable fairway to complement something stable/overstable like a teebird.  This disc would also excel as a beginner driver because it will hold the line it is thrown on without being so stable that it would compensate for bad form.

I threw one round with this disc, and it went into the bag immediately. It has become a staple for me since then. It's become my go-to disc for anything in the 300' range where there is no headwind. Got a tight tunnel shot to hit, hyzerflip it to flat and it'll be lazer straight with gentle fade. Got a little room to work with, throw it flat and let it get you that extra distance with a night turn and gentle fade back, finishing on target line, or just a bit right. Need a long turnover? Throw it a little higher with at a gentle anny and it'll sail forever, just straightening out towards the end and avoiding a cut roll. Great disc, great glide, great plastic, and great hand feel. Definitely give one a try, especially at this price point!

This is just a solid, straight shooting fairway driver. It glides far, goes straight with a moderate fade. This is a disc that can be used by disc golfers of all skill level. The best thing about the Streamline Drift is the low price point! For this inexpensive, you might as well try it. You just might have a new go to fairway driver.

This review is for the "noodle arms". I got a blue flat 159 and a white 166 that does have a little dome. My furthest drive with a 9 speed driver is 300-325 on a big turnover for reference. With no wind I could get just a small amount of turn, but the glide was quite noticeable, with a good forward penetrating fade. If I gave it my all and a smidgen of anhyzer it gave me back a long smooth sweeping flex shot. I found the disc quite predictable in dead air, but I probably wont be using it in anything much more than a light breeze. RHBH.I will give an update in a few months after I get a substantial of time on this disc, and to see how it breaks in.

I took the DRIFT out for a quick round of disc golf which would require a few short, precision holes as well as some longer throws. It was a lot of fun! When thrown with less power, the Drift flies quite straight with a gentle, but consistent end-fade. The rim size is very comfortable (not too wide) so the disc is easy to release with precision. But when I turned up the speed and tried bombing it further, it still held up well. It took off with some understability, for sure, but the fade still brought it back a bit (didn't turn into a roller or lose control). It was even better with a hyzer-flip release. When thrown with an anhyzer angle, it held the line pretty well, though that is where it can risk rolling (at least when I didn't get the disc high enough).

This is a great disc for players of all levels. I think that experienced players can find a variety of uses for a versatile disc like this, both for controlled shots or hyzer-flips that really can get some great distance. But newer players can also find it a comfortable disc and can work up some really nice distance without needing a lot of arm speed. The Drift is a great compliment to the Streamline Trace, which is a higher-speed, more overstable disc. I just hope we can get some more discs added to the lineup soon.

I had to share my experience with you on the drift.  i am rhbh, and throw most discs on a hyzer.  so understable discs are more my speed and bread and butter...

I would best describe it as a river and a leopard3 had a kid and the drift was born.  lots of control, can shape different lines. and plenty of glide to cover ground.  if thrown on an anny or flat will turn over and either hold it to the ground or turn into a roller.  hyzer will flip up and go straight with some fade (can get some "s" turn on a steep hyzer in headwind)

beginners or those with low armspeed will see it fly straight and have a gentle fade.  it will cover great ground with the amount of glide it has.

I was throwing it in a field and was hitting 330ish consistently, with less effort than my distamce drivers.   i may end up dropping my dd's in favour of this disc for no wind, low wind or tailwind situations.  (headwinds will still get a spark pulled).  this is a great starter disc for those looking to move up from putters or mids.

other comparisons:  a domey inspire that doesn't fight back as hard at end of flight, less stable river pro, shorter saint/escape, or a heat.
