The Vibram Arch is described as a slightly slower Lace. Vibram says, "We took the amazing qualities of the Lace wing and applied them to a smaller, easier to hold (especially for smaller hands) fairway wing. The ARch offers amazing glide for a stable to overstable fairway driver. Fast, great glide and easy handling make this a go-to disc straight out of the box."

Mine flies like a less glidey tee bird. I bought a Notch as well and they fly too similarly to both be in the bag. I prefer the notch. Medium Xlink has a nice feel to it, but I can't tell a big difference between Medium and firm. Soft is way different and the Glow Rubber is what you'd expect a medium to feel like, a little bit grippier. It's too bad Vibram has exited disc golf. I do think they should have offered a plastic version of their discs, but the rubber is incredibly unique and will be missed. Rated correctly.

I will begin by saying that the Arch I used was a medium, while I wanted a firm. I used this disc at a birdie bash event this year and was not terribly impressed. The arch had the ability to fly on a great line and perform fantastically. The issue I have with the disc is that it was very inconsistent for me. I could not get it to perform the same shot twice in a row when needed, it would simply fly a different shot to shot. I think part of this comes from being in a plastic that was more flexible than I prefer. I know that the disc had potential, I had some great shots with it, I was just disappointed with how the next shot would end up knowing that it should have been doing something else

I recently received a Vibram Arch when I played in a local Birdie Bash event.  I ended up winning the event and the Arch had a lot to do with that.  I got the Arch in X-Link Medium in max weight (174g) so the disc has a bit of give/flex to it.  It was very grippy all day, and took some abuse from some trees, but still continued to fly true to form.

In terms of flight characteristics, this disc provided me a reliable slightly overstable flight throughout the day.  I don't think I ever "turned the dial up to 11" on any one shot, but I was able to comfortably throw the Arch hard without any fear of it turning over and losing it to the right.  I was able to throw backhands high and over/around trees and I was also able to throw backhands low/around trees and overhanging branches.  I even managed to use the Arch to flick some forehands with reliability.  I would just aim to the left and let it fall to the right.

Bottom line, the Arch is a great disc if you need an easy-to-throw, easy-to-control, fairway driver.  My new Arch is definitely staying in my bag :)

I picked up an Arch as part of my search for new fairway drivers. The Valley has become my primary fairway and I decided to try the Vamp and Arch to see if they complemented the Valley. I've not been disappointed with the Arch. It offers me consistent lines and carry. It works well in conjunction with the Valley, as it offers a solid option when confronted with a headwind or the need for a hook shot.

The X-Link compound, as always, provides a good grip even when wet or dusty. It's durable and holds characteristics for a long time, plus will heal wounds in a short time after thrown into immovable objects. I've had some serious dents work themselves out over several minutes.
