Definitely a disc for specialty shots. not one you can throw on any hole. great for forehand and anhyzer flex on backhand. Love the design I think it fits with the medieval theme of Westside very nice. I use the boatman and the fortress primarily as my two drivers. the fortress replaced my firebird as I'm trying to switch to westside since I love their theme and designs.

This disc in the VIP-X Chameleon plastic is an absolute tank! Its great for very precise placement shots but don't expect to get it to go very far because this disc loves getting to the ground as quick as possible. Has less glide then a brick.

The Fortress is a great option in the control/hybrid driver category if you want something with beef that is still workable. Especially in the chameleon plastic, it is noticeably more stable than the typical PD or Thunderbird that would fill this slot in your bag. I've found the Fortress very effective as a step up from the Felons I carry, if there's a shot either forehand and backhand I would LIKE to use a Felon on that I think the Felon can't quite reach. Big fan too of the sharp rim on the Fortress, and it fits great for my grip. Very dependable, but still workable and capable of good distance. The Fortress gets a Fort-Yes from this guy!
