I grabbed a Harp after seeing it recommended for beginners who had Ultimate experience. This disc did what I wanted intuitively. That doesn't mean I don't make mistakes with it on occasion but more often than not I'm pleasantly shocked with how often I park an approach without giving it more thought than what line I want to through. And it's affordable and available which is great for backups and replacements. Fan of the BT Hard plastic.

    VIP Plastic (174g)

This is a classic overstable approach disc. Less stable than a Z-Zone, but still very predicable overstability. This mold has a flat top and a very deep rim, noticeably deeper than a Zone, which makes forehands a little more comfortable than backhands.

Review is for the BT Medium Plastic

Everyone seems to love this disc, and to each their own. I bought this disc about 6 months ago and thought it might be helpful for buyers to read a review that isn't completely raving about it.

Turn/Fade: The flight is very straight for me. Most of the reviews I read call it very overstable, but I would beg to differ. Unlike some very over stable midranges I have it doesn't have loads of fade. It is reliable in the wind and under power too. I can definitely see why people are attracted to this disc specifically for this reason.

Glide: There is none... I mean none. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing, but the numbers suggest it has some glide. I don't know if it's the specific disc I bought or the plastic, but my white, BT Medium Harp is literally concave. the center of the "dome" is about 3/32 lower than the rim. This is the main reason I rate this disc a 3/5. If that's what you're looking for than it's perfect, but not really as advertised. As a consequence of this I have to really crank it to throw any sort of distance. Just forget about throwing a level flight with it. It just drops like a rock.

Feel: Disc is comfortable in hand. I like the grip of the plastic. The rim is average (in a good way) and should fit most peoples hands.

Summary: My experience with this disc is that it indeed can handle power. My issue with it is that it requires power all the time. Even thrown into a headwind my disc just does not go far at all. I have to throw it nose-up to get any distance on it. It's a little large in diameter as a putter for my taste; though you could definitely use it as one. I could see me wishing this was in my back if I'm putting around circles edge in a crazy strong wind, but in reality this disc has not earned a spot in my bag. I have a Bard by Westside disc that fits the spot I expected the Harp to fill. Because of the power required for level flight I find it difficult to throw with the touch I can more easily put on my Bard or Judge.

If I get the chance to try this disc in another plastic I'll give it another try, but for now this is the only disc I've tried from Westside that I would not recommend.

One of the best discs I own and would 100% recommend it. I throw 95% forehand and this is amazing. I use it as an approach disc and sometimes as a putter and its wonderful. Very little practice is necessary to become accurate enough to park it on a 100ft approach.

This is by far the best forehand upshot disc I have ever used. I was struggling for so long to find the perfect disc for me and this is it. I can throw it off the tee on short holes or put it under the basket from 100-200ft with ease. It has really reliable fade and is perfect on small flex shots. It fits perfect in the hand and has a very flat top. I love my Harp!

Love it.  For the backhand, it's not my favorite as I would rather grab my slammer - but for the forehand, nothing beats it.  If you let it go on hyzer it's going to finish on hyzer, if you really rip on it you can get it to push forward for so long with a consistent fade at the end, it's so reliable yet has so much more to it than just another overstable disc, will definitely be picking up a few more of these in the new future.  If you have a forehand, get this disc!

I've thrown harp in the following plastics (Tournament, Moonshine, Origio, BT Hard) and this BT Hard Burst is by far the best feel. Confidence inspiring for my flick approach game.

This is my favorite overstable approach disc, it flies straight with a dependable fade, I feel like I have good distance control when using a harp to approach.  The BT Hard was my initial harp, and it feels the best for me it is not as durable as the Tournament or VIP tho.  The Tournament felt better than the VIP to me.

Excellent approach disc;  very consistent and the perfect throwing putter.  Have gotten several aces with this disc.  Recommend to try in several different plastics.

If you're looking for a forehand putter disc, then this would be a great one to try. The feel of it is a little too deep for me on forehand, but once you get used to that, it is a great approach flick disc. Creates a nice smooth flight and lands soft. Doesn't turn over due to its stability. So overall a very good utility disc

Man, what a consistent putter/approach disc! There is definitely a reason why Ricky Wysocki made this disc so famous. In short, I learned how to throw forehand approach shots with this disc. The stability of this disc was just so dependable, I felt like every time I threw it I would know exactly what it did every time. Backhand or upland, this disc is gonna land right where you want it. I’m not the biggest fan of how deep this disc was, which proved to have difficulties in power grip backhand shots (i.e., why I switched to the zone), but when you get a good release, you’ll be surprised how far this disc can really go. Not to mention that Westside has this disc in about 8 different plastics, which offer different and subtle characteristics, thereby making this disc insanely versatile.

this disc has saved me so many strokes in play. my favorite forehand upshot disc. consistent finish and straight to overstable flight. 200 in this is my go to if i need to get close to the pin. 10 out of 10 recommending trying a harp, great form teacher for forehand as well.

This thing is weird. For what's sold as a putter, it has the edge profile of a mid range, so getting the control I want in a putter is tough. I just can't get my pointer finger where I want on the disc. But I guess chalk it up to user error.

The plastic is really nice, and would probably make for a sweet mid range.
