I was given a 177 VIP seer on as a gift a year and a half ago.  My sister knew I enjoyed disc golf and went to our local store and just picked up a disc and bought it for me.  I figured I wouldn't get a whole lot of use out of it as I've had a Leopard in my bag for 7 years.  I don't have the fastest of arms, but my first throw with this disc hit 320' with about 70% power, so I decided to put it in my bag.  It's since replaced said Leopard.

This is a fantastic disc for tunnel shots.  The Seer's glide really keeps it going.  Any time I have to hit a narrow gap off the tee, I throw this thing at 50% and watch it sail 250-260'.  It will turn ever slightly and fade slightly, landing dead straight.  It is a great turnover fairway driver at higher speeds as well.  I would say it's a slightly more understable leopard, but the added glide provides additional distance when compared to the leopard.

Additionally, hyzer flipping this disc has really helped develop my forehand shot in the last 6 months.  I can effortlessly put this on a hyzer and get a forehand out to 220ish.

I think this would be a great first driver and can definitely be a great disc for a wooded course, provided you don't overpower it.  I'm a fan of powering down and "discing" down whenver possible, hence why this is one of my most thrown discs when accuracy matters more than distance.  If you plan on powering up on this disc, I'd definitely recommend putting it on some hyzer.

Great feeling disc that can be used to hit straight lines or put on an anhyzer line. It is a great fairway driver for lower arm speeds but once you get a little more snap on the disc it becomes a little to understable. Overall a good disc though and would definitely recommend for newer players that like Westside discs.

This fairway driver feels great in the hand and releases smoothly from the pad.. The flight chart is pretty close to how they fly for me..

I like to snap these discs on a little hyzer and they just work themselves out and glide.. They are great for going up tight straight wooded fairways.  Another great understable disc for the bag, that add distance to each one of my drives.

I was hoping to love this disc. However it ended up being too understable for me. I was expecting more Leopard but I ended up with beat DX Leopard flight. It has a blunt rim compared to a Leopard as well. I think it may work well for rolling so I'll be working with the disc for that. I normally only roll beat in Vulcans for long distance, so this might be a better option for a little shorter roller too.

I would say if you throw around 300 feet, it may be better for you. Plastic feel is great of course and so is the quality.

This is my point and shoot fairway driver. Powered down, this disc will go dead straight for 250' staying five feet off the ground, just money for tunnel shots. I almost treat it like a longer midrange (specifically a longer Comet). A bit more power and you can shape excellent turnover shots, or hyzer flip to flat with a gentle finish to the anhyzer side. I'll also throw it for big distance sky anhyzers, I can get it to flip up at maximum height and it will drift to my anhyzer side for a long way. Comparable to a Leopard, though it feels a little slower and glidier to me, and I generally prefer the plastics from Trilogy over Innova.

The Seer is a pretty solid disc, but it doesn't do anything that I don't think another disc does better. A Maul will glide farther with a similar flight path, and something like a Maverick or River will get similar distance with more reliability. A Witness or some of the "easy-to-throw" Trilogy fairways probably have more hyzer-flip or roller potential. On a 270' shot, the Seer will just hold an anhyzer line until it flattens out still drifting to the right without rolling. Solid disc, but I think there are most likely better options for anything specific you might be looking for.

For me, this disc is too unpredictable. I'm no pro, but feel I have pretty good control over the discs in my bag, so I don't bag it. Sometimes when I want a slight glide to the right on RHBH shot I'd throw this and it would just turn and burn. Then, when I wanted a hard turn to the right it would glide to the right a touch and fade back quickly. I could just never get a grasp on it. I've seen multiple turn numbers on the disc and listed on websites which add to the confusion. One thing cool I will say about this disc is I ordered one from infinite discs and I was sent one with the Finnish stamp which I thought was super cool. Thanks infinite!

The Seer has become my all-time favorite backhand turnover disc. I will use this time and time again on any hole ranging from 270-310 ft that requires the drive to bend far to the right. My VIP Seer has been consistent on every throw making it one of my best "birde" drivers out there. The seer will not fight out of its turnover and will drop nicely and float down like a putter at the end of its flight.

The Seer has a thin rim that can make it difficult for large handed players to grip.

I had a previous Seer that wasn't as understable and would fly as straight as an arrow. There can be some variance from disc to disc, so find the one that works for you!

With Westside discs, I started off with the Warship. If you have enough skill to get consistent 300 ft. flights out of the Warship (and you also bag and Underworld or something similar), then you might not have much use of a Seer. I don't have that skill yet!

Despite what the understable numbers say, and the higher speed rating say, for me, the Seer is easier to control than a Warship. And powered up, you can get Underworld-esque shots out of the Seer as well, so I don't have to bag an Underworld like I used to. At this point, I'm using a Sling or Seer, for neutral-to-understable shots, depending on distance, and a Pine for stable-to-overstable shots, in the same range. All very reliable unless there's a headwind, at which point I'll switch to a Harp/Bard/Pine option instead.

The jump from speed 6 to speed 7 in Westside's lineup comes with a significant change in shape and feel. That might be why I can control the Seer more easily than the Warship. Regardless, I'm happy to increase from the old 2-disc Warship+Underworld midspeed combo that I used to use, to the enabled-as-of-2017 3-disc Sling+Pine+Seer combo, considering that I get a little more versatility and a lot more reliability out of it.

This should be one of the first discs a beginner upgrades to.  I've used it to help a lot of newer players, or those without 300 ft power.  You don't need big power to get good turn out of this disc. A must try disc if you are in your first year playing! Even for more experience players these are great for hyzer flipping it or using it for easy anhyzers.  I love this disc for touch shots and long annys.  For some reason I thought this was a beginner disc so I didn't bother after I got better, but when I tried it again a year + later it went right in the bag.  Just a great disc.

I have really enjoyed using this disc. Picked up a misprint one on a whim and this disc has really been a staple of my bag. You can throw it 85% on it flat and it will give you a nice steady left to right glide all the way to the ground or you can finesse shot it for a lazer beam to the basket. It really does what you want it to do. Like most understable discs, it will PUNISH you if you if you make a form mistake or crank on it too hard. This has definitely helped me shave strokes off my local course time and time again.

    Not for me, BUUUUUUUTTT....

I really wasn't expecting much out of the Seer. It seems like Westside's first foray into a begginer type driver. It is that for sure. I couldn't really get a good throw out of it without powering down and adding a steep hyzer angle, but my wife was ripping the Seer much farther than her Diamond, which is supposed to be one speed faster.

The Seer has crazy glide, and is pretty neutral for lower power arms. It actually has an unexpected amount of fade at the end of the flight, much like Westside's faster offering, the Hatchet. If anything, I would put the Seer as a slower, glidier Hatchet.

VIP, 174g. In a nutshell, versatile but unforgiving. A great disc in the woods. I have thrown many beautiful shots with this disc from both the tee and fairway, but it is quite sensitive to both the wind and release angles. A great downwind driver and hyzer-flip disc, but an unpredictable turnover disc, which was its intended use for me. I continue to carry it, but I throw it only when it is calm or the wind is clearly at my back. So, unlike some of the other reviewers here, I would not recommend this disc to a new player.

Super disc, I love the SEER!!. I bought one at the last tournament we played in at Cedar Lakes in West Virginia. That is a wonderful, beautiful course. I am loving every Lat 64 disc that I throw and the SEER in my latest addition. It throws very accurate and it can be controlled very well. I am surprised how far this thing goes on such little effort. A super beginner disc. I have loved the teebird since I started playing but the SEER might take it's spot in my bag for now. Latitude 64 has some of the best plastics and discs currently on the market. Try them out.

This is a very nice disc. It is shallow with a smaller rim, and is very comfortable to throw. It has a pretty neutral flight unless you OAT it. I have played a few rounds with mine, and, much like the Latitude 64 Diamond or Jade, you get very nice distance without a lot of effort. It has a flight very similar to the Jade in fact, some high speed turn followed by a nice fade. If you throw a hard anny, it will fight out of it if thrown high enough. Overall I found it very easy to hit the lines I wanted with this disc,

This seems like an old-school disc, like a Gazelle. Highly recommended for casual to intermediate players.
