The Angler in Ozone plastic brings a grippy, premium feel that balances firmness and flexibility for clean releases. In this plastic, the Wild Discs Angler provides its familiar torque resistance with a slightly smoother forward push, making it effective for accurate placement shots where controlled fade is essential.

Update to my original review

After more time with more of the plastics the Angler comes in, I feel obligated to reassess this disc. This mold is really something else, and I absolutely love it. Driving with the Angler, the harder/more spin you give it the more lateral movement you'll get out of it. It is extremely overstable but also glidey at the same time. Bumping the glide a touch above a 3, and adding some positive turn due to how stable it is (and it really does turn before it fades). It's a love it or hate it disc due to that nature. Great for flex shots. The huge bead and diameter of the disc make it a little trickier for forehanding in my opinion.

Want a glidier Toro that is even more BEEF? Pick out a darn Mangler.

This disc is an absolute beefcake. Way more overstable than a zone. This thing fades hard, great for getting out of a bad spot, flex shots and spike hyzer where you need something to sit as soon as it hits the ground. I would give this disc a fade of 4. The new ozone plastic feels a little slippery but the stamp is awesome!
