Very disappointed with this disc. I have to throw it with about 40° of hyzer to hyzer flip it. I thought it would be like an FD1, Athena, Teebird or basically straight flyer with an overstable finish. It just flips into the ground when thrown at any sort of speed whatsoever. Incredibly understable. I've beat in my valkyrie for years and it is still more overstable than the Fu disc brand new. Would not recommend this disc to anybody that throws over 250ft. It probably flies like a teebird when a beginner throws it but the disc has absolutely zero stability for real.

I did a review of the Fu over a year ago based on Tiger-grade versions that I had gotten on sale; but more recently I've picked up a Phoenix version and thought it merited it's own, higher review. The flight numbers still seem pretty accurate as before, but thankfully there was no coarse flashing on this one scraping up my finger, so the releases have been smoother and more comfortable. I've been very pleased with the Phoenix plastic version: I've got nearly the full set of Yikun discs in mostly Phoenix plastic, and I really like the feel and durability of it; also the colors tend to be bright and easy to spot when looking for the discs -- in fairway grass, or in the rough. Furthermore, since the last review, I've picked up several additional discs to compare it with, and as far as my 7/5/0/2 discs go, the Fu tends to give me my best overall flight pattern and distance.

Received this as a mystery disc and didn't like it first due to its domey figure but after many 2nd chances have learned to love it. Great fairway driver when no room to run up. Just the right amount of overstability, not too much, and very controllable.

I got this as a mystery disc, like many others. I was very surprised by the "champion" plastic feel right off the bat. It is a domed disc with a wide rim and an ever-so-slight bead that works well with my large hands.

The speed and glide are perfect for any playing level. This is one of the first drivers I was able to throw properly. I quickly added it to my bag behind my beast stack. I use it as much as I use my beast.

I am able to throw this very straight OR work one heck of a heizer.  I have been very impressed by Yikun plastic and was very happy to get this as my mystery disc.

Really nice glidy fairway from Yikun. This disc is slightly  gummy and fairly domey and has a blunt rounded rim that should make it hold its flight for a long time.

I have liked it for straight shots where you need 350ft of power but may not have the footing to do a full run up.

It's easy to get up to speed and I think I anyone who has been playing long enough to have decent form could get some great lines out of it.

Throw it flat and it flies very well, I found it similar to a thunderbird. Good loft and glide, seems true to the numbers Yikun gave it. I got it as a mystery disc and it is now in my bag. First high dome disc I have thrown, have yet to see any bad results. Easily gets to my driving average in the 280' range.

Recently I had 2 days of my throw just being off, yet this disc still flew well, turned over but not nearly as bad as my essence or leopard.

In any case I have it in Phoenix plastic which it feels great, along with the ease of throw and it's fairly stable nature the Fu is a great disc for the developing beginners.

I have a pink 174g Fu in Phoenix plastic. The plastic is ultra bright, looks good, and has adequate grip to it. This is a really domey disc that is more stable than I thought it would be, and is more overstable than the higher speed QI which I was testing out at the same time. I'd say my disc is pretty true to the flight ratings given by Yikun.

Personally, I'm not a fan of discs with a lot of dome, but if you're looking for a stable flying fairway driver at a low price, that's actually in stock, this is a good disc golf disc.

The flight numbers would have you believing this is something akin to a Teebird or some other straight-stable fairway driver. This is not the case, at least for mine.

I got mine as a mystery discs added to an order. Just threw a few holes with it, and fam. It be flippy. Does not take headwinds well, and if you have much of an arm and want it to go straight, you better throw it on a pretty steep hyzer and leave room on the right for an s-turn, otherwise it's going to turn for days. (assuming rhbh)

Thrown flat, this thing will turn and burn pretty fast, at least for me.

As a matter of fact, I also own a Hu (another mystery disc), and the flight really reminds me of a shorter Hu, but maybe just a touch less flippy. The Hu's pretty darn flippy, I've been using it for longer turnovers out of hyzer.

The Phoenix plastic feels nice, it's like a super slick Champion or maybe closer to Z. It seems like it's got very little drag and gives me the impression that it punches out a little further than you might expect. Definitely keep a towel handy if you're expecting moisture. Mine came with a pretty solid dome that gets that heartbeat sounds when you depress it. Good amounts of glide to be had.

I probably won't bag mine since I have other understable discs in my bag for those distances, but it's not a bad disc for what it does. But what it does is not Teebird-esque things.
