The She Gong is a maximum distance driver by Yikun. This mold is manufactured in Yikun's prettiest plastic to date, GLAZE plastic. The flight numbers say 13/5/0/2. However, for players with more power, the She Gong will hyzer flip and ride for impressive distances. For those players with less power, this disc could be the go-to, straight to fade, distance annihilator. PDGA Approved on 1/30/23

In general, it is foolish to think adding a disc will automatically give you more distance, but a She Gong will probably add distance to your throws. It just goes far. Very glidey and more Understable than the numbers would imply. I have shared this disc with beginners and more advanced, big arm thrower, and all have responded with shock at how far it flew. I also love the look and feel of the glaze plastic. It isn't really comparable to other companys' plastics, but has good grippiness even in adverse conditions. Highly recommend the She Gong.

Very Understable. Flew like a leopard and was hard to get the right angle needed to fly properly. On a hyzer burns over and turns itself into the ground. Add slightly more hyzer? Holds and doesn't turn enough to flex out in the first place. Seems like this disc is so touchy it was very hard for me to get the exact right angle needed for this to fly properly. Completely off on the flight numbers as this disc turns noticeably and barely fades at all. You can never know when, or even if the disc will fight back to flat after flipping over.

I thought the latest Yikun discs in the Glaze plastic were pretty cool looking and decided to give them a try. I field tested this one along with a couple discs with similar ratings -- its sibling the 13/5/0/3 Da'e, and the 14/5/0/2 Thor. I think the Thor is more overstable than a 2 Fade, but the Da'e is clearly less stable than the Thor (probably just a 2 Fade), and the She Gong flew straighter, and less stable than that -- hence the -1/1 Turn/Fade rating I've given it. That said, though the given numbers seemed a bit off to me, now that I know what it's like, it's certainly a perfectly fine disc -- in fact I was very pleased with its performance: The disc flies very well for me, giving me some really good straight-forward distance. (Next I'll have to do some testing of it against its Glaze sibling the Jin Wu, from which I've also gotten long, straight flights.)

The Glaze plastic looks pretty cool, as do the stamps on the new selection of Glaze discs. I'm definitely no Chinese expert, but they seems to have a rather classy cultural element to the designs. I also like the feel of the Glaze plastic, as it releases smoothly and cleanly for me (reflecting also the quality craftsmanship of the disc -- no flashing or oddities to affect grip or release). If the durability proves itself with time, this might overtake their Phoenix grade as my favorite Yikun plastic. The disc speed I think will still make this too fast for beginners to use that well, but since it's not as stable as indicated, they might work up to it sooner than otherwise expected.

Lives up to reviews and is my furthest throwing disc in my bag, but it is very touchy to be able to get that distance. Tailwinds help and throwing it with the trust that it WILL turn is needed and a bit difficult to trust for a few rounds.

I throw forehand and it needs a wide fairway to get all the distance you can out of it but can replace a backhand distance drive due to the predictable turn.

Absolute bomber disc! I am usually an Innova Corvette thrower and this disc will absolutely give my Corvettes a challenge to stay in the bag. The biggest issue with most "bomber" 13+ speed discs I find is the getting a consistent dome. The She Gong's dome was in that perfect sweet spot, just enough to add glide and limit erratic midflight turn, but not too much to have an odd hand feel.

I was able to throw a hyzerflip with a baby turn from about 10* of hyzer to 410' on my first rip, just an incredible flight. When thrown hard she truly is gone.

The two Glaze discs I have used were very different in feel. The She Gong was a bit gummy, with some flex. My Jin Wu was incredibly slick and took some breaking in before the hand feel was something I could trust.

I recently bought some yikun discs out of curiosity and man have I been impressed so far, so when I saw they were coming out with a disc called "she gong" I knew no matter how beefy and fast it was I was going to bag it. I threw it for the first time today doing field work and it was my firthest flying disc every time. It stood up with a little bit of turn and had a reliable fade every time. Definitely not a 13,5,0,2 more under stable for sure but loved saying "she gong" every time it left my hands

The Yikun She Gong is a bomber for players with similar arm speeds to mine. The Glaze line is gorgeous and feels great. It's got a an adequate amount of grip and glistens in the sunlight making these discs easy to fine after your really far throws with them.

As for the flight ratings, and the reason it bombs so well for me is because it is definitely more understable than the Yikun flight ratings indicate. This disc is great for my backhand throws. The flight is very similar to the Infinite Discs Pharaoh. It is a little bit too understable for a full power forehand throw for me as it turned over on me on and drifited off the side of a mountain and was lost into the unknown depths below. But the best thing about losing this disc on a hole like that where it turns over and flys, and flys and flys is that while it is drifting away you can say "She Gong."
