The alias is a disc I never heard about until my girlfriend got it in a winter disc trade hosted by Trash Panda Disc Golf. I have thrown it quite a few times now and I am always baffled at the versatility of this disc. For me (~360 average distance) it flips up with some slight turn and a small finish back to flat on a small hyzer release. I can flip it up to flat and let it ride straight for a long time on more hyzer and on a flat release it has a perfect right gliding flight (RHBH) the whole way without it cut rolling. I think a lot of discs will fill those shots but I find the alias to shine with new players. My girlfriend has a buzzz ss that I got her and that is still on the stable side for her as a new player. But the alias being slightly beat in is like the perfect disc to fly straight with a slight amount of finish for her. She can throw it hard on a flat or even anhyzer angle and trust it to fly straight for a good 100 ft before it starts to finish. I hear nothing really about the alias and I don't know if its out of production but I think more people should check out the alias if they have an opportunity to.

This is probably MVPs straightest mid. It really doesn't turn over, even if you put a ton of power on it. At 275' on a straight release I couldn't get it to turn hardly. I think that 250 'range is where this disc really shines. If you put it on a straight line it will hold, if you put it on an anhyzer it will also hold that very well. You won't be shaping crazy lines with this, it's reliable, doesn't turn and hardly fades. If you need a great standard midrange this is a great option from MVP/Axiom. Of the three mids I keep in my bag regularly, this is slightly less stable than my Matrix, slightly more stable than my Theory. The three compliment each other very nicely. I recommend this only for intermediate and up if you want to fully utilize the disc. If you aren't comfortable shooting around 250', try a mid that will fly straight for a slower arm speed like a theory or a tangent.

Overall, this disc holds lines, fades forward and is very point and shoot.

The Alias was really good fresh out the box and stayed true for quite some time. I'd say the flight numbers match very well with slightly less glide than most mids and a very straight shooter. This was my go to straight shot mid tee shots or long approaches, as reliable for a straight shot as youre gonna get.

After about a year of consistent use (in Washington State, so lots of trees), it is grown to an understable disc with ~1.5 turn & 0.5 fade. So now to get a straight shot I need to flip it up slightly which requires more touch, or I use it for slow turning holes from 240-ft to 280-ft.

I used this disc in an MVP vs Axiom tourney.  It was the definition of a point and shoot disc.  Wherever you threw it is where it ended up going.  It would tend to drift to the right on a RHBH with little to no fade at the end.  The thing that made this hard to throw off the tee was the extreme lack of glide.  This made this strictly an upshot disc for me.  The rest of the players in the tourney had the same opinions.

I'm a solid intermediate player and I was reaching about 200-250 with this.  The rim on this disc reminded me more of a putter than a midrange and if it weren't for the different plastic on my putter I would have mistakenly grabbed it.

This disc to me is the definition of a tweener, it sits somewhere right in between the Theory and the MVP Matrix. This made it hard for me to find a use for it when I already had the other two. However, it has a nice glide to it (not quite as good as the Theory) and a little bit of a bite at the end of the flight (more than the Theory but less than the Matrix). If you already have a US and an OS midrange the Alias might not find its way in to your bag. However, if you have been searching for a midrange that is not very OS but stable enough to handle your power this might be the disc for you. If you are a beginner I could see you getting some good use out of this disc. you will be able to hyzer flip it but it will be stable enough not to turn and burn on you if you release it flat.

A simple, stable and good flyer. works great for any whole where you want minimals fade. It is also quite good for wind because of its wight options aswell as its stability.

Reminds me a lot of the Latitude64 Claymore, doesn't fly quite as straight but they both work well together if you want two really similar discs. Mines a bit heavy coming in at 176g, I like to throw  173-167. Aside from that its still a great flyer and give it enough spin and that Gyro tech will keep it moving forward longer.
