Proton plastic makes the Fireball extremely durable with a translucent finish and firm feel. The Proton Fireball maintains its overstable, headwind-ready flight path for the long haul, resisting wear better than baseline options.

I absolutely love this disc! It's my go to pretty overstable disc in the bag. I bag this disc in both proton and fission plastic, and it just fits my hand way better than any other disc in this slot (even better than the faf firebird!). This disc isn't really beginner friendly at all, but no matter who you are, you could fit this kind of disc in your bag (even if it's just for very niche situations). This disc is in my experience the perfect fit for shots around the 50-80 meter range, where you just need the disc to reliably finish to either side, depending on whether you're throwing backhand, forehand, lefty or righty. Where this disc truly shines for me, is when I need to flex a shot shape hard to the left initially, but with a very strong and reliable finish to the right (RHFH). It's one of the most dependable discs in my bag, and could get me out of pretty much any sticky situation. Also worth noting that this disc in fission plastic flies slightly straighter and longer, so it's definitely worth bagging this disc in fission and one other plastic as an even more overstable compliment.

Most overstable disc I've ever thrown. It's a great disc to have in your bag, it's probably the disc I've had in my bag the longest. Thrown on a hyzer, flat, or anhyzer, you can count on a big fading finish.

absolutely love the fireball. I have been throwing them for years. I have 2 one in neutron and 1 in proton. Both perform the same, but the neutron feels more comfortable in the hand. This disc will hyzer out. No matter what. Great for RHBH shots into a stiff wind or to get around corners.  I love the skip action you get out of disc. This disc is magic thrown sidearm. Makes a great flick roller disc as well, but not that well versed in the rollers

Great forehand disc. I am a primary sidearm thrower and really have great success with this disc off the tee. Very over stable as well has corrected a few mistakes always dumps right for me. RHFH distance isn't bad. Nice and flat as well rim has nice width and feels good for a nice powerful flick.

This is my new favorite forehand disc. It is a longer Firebird for me. I believe the proton plastic is the most stable, it seems to get massive skips for me. I recently purchased a plasma and it feels great in hand, especially in cold weather. I really like the rim of this disc, very small which is easy for me to grip. I don't have a backhand so I don't know how this would fly but you would need to have a big arm to throw this disc. I would suggest this disc for more advanced players.

even at a light weight, this is my go to forehand flex disc (my get out of jail and/or tight line approach shot).  Definitely go with the proton plastic (more durable and more stable than neutron)

I really wanted this disc to work for me, but I have found that the Overmold style just doesn't fit to my liking. If you do like this style of disc, it is very much like a slightly faster Firebird, but doesn't have the same level of control. It's got a sharp edge and works really well for skip shots. Thrown on a low and strong BH hyzer, it will find it's cut, catch the earth, and flare like there's no tomorrow. It's great for getting out of trouble, but it wont find its way into my bag. Hopefully, others are able to put it to good use.
