Fission plastic lightens the Insanity’s core with microbubbles while preserving the dense Gyro rim. The Fission Insanity often flies slightly more understable at lighter weights, giving players easy hyzer flips and maximum distance potential.

As an intermediate beginner disc with some arm speed, this disc has a great ability for a hyzer flip, the fission plastic feels amazing for grip, the durability of this disc is a true test of the abilities of Axiom discs. I've had this disc for the last year and a half it's pretty beat in it still flips but has mellowed out a bit, but still a reliable disc.

Out of the three plastics I have this mold in (Eclipse, Neutron, Fission), the fission is probably my favorite one. It is a bit flippier than the other two I have and is great for hyzer flips and turnover lines for my arm speed (~400ft). Would highly recommend for everyone and would be a great first driver for a beginner to experiment with.

Got this disc in Fission in 162 Grams. My goal was to get an Understable Straight flying Hyzer Flip Disc and this is just the Perfect Disc for it. I just begun throwing Backhands 3 Months ago and I this is my furthest flying Disc which I can get up to 300+ Feet.

I don't typically review the same disc in a different plastic, but I thought the difference between a proton and fission waranted it. In fact, this disc flies different in every plastic. So much so that I currently bag a fission, neutron, and cosmic neutron. This review is primarily for the fission. This is my do all everything in the woods once I am beyond the distance of my mids disc. I can throw it on hyzer to finish left, hyzer flip it for a straight shot, throw it level with straight flight, or soft anny it for a nice turn. It even FH's nice for my less than proficient side arm. It is truly one of my comfort discs.

The glide is good while maintaining a level of control. I use it on every round. As previously mentioned, I also bag a neutron (slightly more stable) and cosmic neutron (even more stable) which I use as my primary FH disc. I have tried a lot of other 9 speed discs and nothing else has been close for me in the slightly US to Stable range, depending on the plastic.

A new favourite disc of mine. The numbers on mine are " 9, 5, -2.5, 1.5". Which is accurate, i would argue it has more glide, as this disc just glides for days. It flips up very easily, has a bit of side to side turn before it slightly and gently fades out.

Its a disc that wants to go far, and for me is very easy to hyzer-flip. So a great disc for those that want get into distance drivers or want to learn how to hyzer-flip higher speed discs.

Only been playing for a month myself I have the MVP Wave and Photon which are 11 speeds and I can sometimes get the S pattern when I throw them but I also shank them left for RHBH since I don't have the arm speed. I got this disc yesterday and took it out today and although small sample size this flies to true for me. I got the perfect S pattern and I think this will be my main driver until I can improve my arm speed. The -2 turn helps me keep it flat and gives it enough glide to slightly fade at the end of the flight. This was the perfect addition for a straight flying driver and will eventually be a control driver as I improve my arm speed for the faster discs.
