I got the Inspire for my wife as a more understable counterpart to the Crave.  The Crave and the Inspire are very similar discs, differing only in the height of the lip on the gyro rim, as far as I can tell.  The Crave is her favorite disc, and the Inspire has all of those things she likes about that going for it as well: lighter weight (160 grams or so), shallow rim depth, controlled turn and fade, and great colors.  The main difference between the flights of the Inspire and Crave is that the Inspire has more turn to it.  Both discs are the same speed, have great glide and a small fade at the end.  If the Crave is like a TL, then the Inspire is like a Leopard, but if the TL and Leopard felt identical in hand.

When I've borrowed this disc, I can get really great distance out it.  With a slight hyzer flip kept low, this disc will turn over slowly, but fight out of it and set down pretty level.  I haven't tried many late turnover shots with this disc, but I suspect it would be a great disc for that as well.

My wife doesn't end up reaching for the Inspire quite as often as the Crave, mainly because its flight is not quite as straight as the Crave and is a little less forgiving to late releases than the Crave.  Still a great understable complement if you're familiar with the Crave.

Hands down my favorite and best midrange. Extremely predictable flight pattern and distance.  Found this on a course and threw it that day. Fell in love immediately. Great run and great durability.

I have mixed feelings about the inspire.

It feels good in the hand, throws easy, and has a nice turn. But it fades a lot harder than I anticipated. I can't get it past 320' without losing forward momentum and dumping 40 feet left of the line it was on. I thought it might be like other low speed turning fairways but it's very unique. The closest thing I have to compare it to is a leopard, which isn't super similar but it acts nothing like it at all. It has a place I think, just not in my bag. I thought I might have a strange disc, but from my experience MVP/Axiom is insanely consistent disc to disc so I'm skeptical of that.

The Neutron and Proton Inspire is a very understable disc.  Thrown flat with power, it is prone to turn and burn.  Hyzer flipped up, however, it makes beautiful turnover shots.  The main difference in the plastics is that the Neutron plastic rides out the fade until it hits the ground, while the Proton always tries to fight out towards the end of the flight.  As such, I prefer the Neutron, but someone could find use for the Proton as well.  The small rim is comfortable as well.  In the hands of someone with low arm speed, it is a straight flying disc with solid fade.  That said, I tend to steer beginners away from drivers as a whole.  If you're going to ignore that advice, and you're determined to get a driver, the inspire is not a bad one.

Also, as I've said in my other MVP/Axiom reviews, the Proton plastic is very splippery in the cold.  Keep that in mind.

I have a Limited 171 Inspire and it flies nothing like the numbers suggest. This things so over stable it's on par with a fresh T3. I don't understand why, I can hyzer flip bosses so perhaps it needs some wear before it flies as intended.

This is the BEST understable MVP/Axiom fairway driver out there. The amp was a little too flippy where this disc will turn and fade right at the end for a soft landing. Released on a hyzer, it will flip up, ride the the right and set down flat. Great disc and a must have for line shaping shots and hyzer flips.

The inspire is more overstable then the flight raiting suggest, at least brand new at 170g. This sleek disc does not take a super arm snap to get the correct line which will be great for any beginers or those not looking to throw their arm out. To much anhizer on this disc can drop you straight into the ground. I use my inspire as a utility disc where I want a slight turn on the tee but enging in a moderate fade. Much the Axiom crave, but far more overstable.

I actually have the Neutron Inspire but thankfully there is not as much of a difference in flight between the plastics like other companies.

I use the Inspire on about 60% or more of my tee shots. The understable nature of it means that now that it is beat in a little (about 3 months of use) I can hyzerflip it for a straight flight, throw it flat for an S flight or anhyzer it for nice turning shot. Another great beginner disc from Axiom!
