I only give this disc 3 stars and yet I will admit that I do bag this disc. I think I bag it because I really want to like the disc and think that I just haven't figured it out yet. Every Vanish that I've seen is board flat and way more overstable than the numbers would suggest. Disclaimer, I live at altitude of nearly 6,000' and often play mountain courses at 9,000' so discs are more stable at altitude. Even so, it's way more overstable than you'd think. Those numbers would suggest a Thrasher or something and it's definitely not that. It flies a lot more similarly to an Innova Charger or something. I'm a hyzer-flip kind of thrower and so I thought this would be perfect for that, but it just isn't. It's not to say it's a bad disc, I just haven't figured out what I think it is. Maybe a -1,2? In some ways I think it's like a Wave in that the plastic heavily impacts the flight. A ton of people that love throwing the Wave throw it in Fission plastic, which is well known to be way flippier than the Neutron. It might be the same for this disc, I don't know. I honestly love how it feels in the hand and like the overstability when there's no wind. When there is wind, particularly a headwind, the flight is way more unpredictable, as if it was an understable disc. So it confuses me again yet I can't seem to take it out of the bag. Maybe because I wiped the stamp and did a cool dye job on it haha

I have some similar discs with these flight numbers and my vanish does not fly like either of them (Hades, Thrasher). I am able to flip those discs with ease and get them to turn but the Vanish remains pretty stable compared to its numbers. It might need more seasoning on my part but brand new it doesnt seem to be as advertised.

Currently I am throwing at an arm speed approximately 10-11 speed, so I took eveything out above this in my bag. For any distance drives, I use this every time unless I need a hard fade or a backhand turn over. The plastic is sort of hard and that is what makes me give it a 4.5 instead of 5. This does make it very durable. I landed hard in a parking lot and it scuffed but not enough to affect flight.

Love this disc. Love Axiom/MVP discs and how they feel in hand. For somewhat beginners/slower arm speed people this is a good distance driver. For intermediate this is a fun hyzer-flip disc that turns then eventually fades. For higher arm speeds may be too flippy especially once beat in. But if you have descent arm speed I highly suggest picking one up.

I recently broke my throwing hand and have been learning how to throw left handed. I was searching for under stable distance drivers to help with my distance and a friend recommended th3 Vanish. Picked it up, and the 3rd throw with it reached my farthest distance i had thrown left handed - 325ft. I was blown away, as it went further than all my other discs by about 25 feet.

For me, this disc pops up to flat and just stays there. I have it in Neutron which I think makes it a bit more stable than the numbers read. I think if i beat it in a bit, this thing will be just perfect.

Certainly recommend this to anyone jumping into distance drivers that needs a max distance disc. I'm very pleased with it and will probably try picking up one in another plastic

Game changer for me. I didn't know I was missing an understable high-speed driver until I bought this on a whim. It flies like a dream. I use it way more than I thought I would. It feels good in my hand, and does exactly what I need it to do. The high arm speed makes it not great for beginners (unless they have a cannon of an arm) but once they get their arm speed up, I certainly would recommend it to them.

Got a beat in Vanish from a friend and loved it from the first throw! I'm only throwing about 300 feet right now, and the Vanish was easily reaching that distance. With my arm speed, the turn is not quite as harsh as the numbers indicate. For me it turns gently to the right, then finishes with a decent dump left at the end. In a headwind it will hold the turn until the very end of the flight. I can see where 400-foot+ throwers, like the friend that gave me the disc, might find the disc too flippy.

This is a disc that loves to turn and fight out near the end with a slight fade. I only use it on holes that require more finesse but still need a lot of distance!

Absolutely love the Vanish. For the longest time, the Vanish was my distance-getter. This thing is a hyzerflip machine! A new one is great for throwing flat and getting it to turn over yet finish straight in front of you. A really seasoned, beat-in Vanish is absolute money! Put hyzer on it and it will flip up flat, turn over a fair bit and glide straight for a long time and then softly fade landing directly in front of you but waaay out there! If you need something to finish 350' - 400' straight in front of you, you need a Vanish! In addition to these amazing flight characteristics, if you throw it with anhyzer you can get a great amount of turn on it as well and even get it over into a roll if you put enough arm on it. For an Advanced or Pro level player, this may not be the best disc because it will be too flippy, but if you are an Int or even a higher Rec player, this disc is a must have! Remember, this review is mainly based on a very seasoned Vanish so if you get one and you can't get these types of lines with it, please don't give up on it! Keep it in that bag and use it often and once you get it good and beat in, there is no other disc to compare it to!

I love this disc. I haven’t been playing very long, but can say this disc would make a great addition to anyone’s back. It has a very smooth straight flight with a slight fade left at the end. I was able to get adequate distance with it and was comfortable throwing it with power in tight places. It was very predictable and builds confidence in your throws.

I have a neutron Vanish with the limited edition invisible man stamp. It looks great, and performs great too! It is extremely flippy, moreso than a turn and therefore is best used for utility rather than distance, unless you have a very strong tailwind. I use it for gigantic anny lines and the longest rollers I've ever been able to throw.

I dont have a big arm but do throw about 320ft...The Axiom Vanish is my #1 driving disc...I actually carry a couple of them...I can throw this disc with the upmost confidense.. Throw it straight/ anny or hyzer.. Can throw it with almost any type of wind as well....Its very versitle..This disc will not flip, crash and burn on me because I dont have that big arm and it levels out for me nicely...This Disc comes in a Dayglo and other cool colors..Its very durable....With all of the above mention I will be throwing this disc for along time..

A year ago this disc would "turn and burn" every time I threw it. Because I had too much arm for it...riiiight. Actually, I was coming over the top of the disc because my form was bad.

Now, I hyzerflip this disc relatively straight from 315' to 345'. Wind does affect it. It is not a headwind disc. And a tailwind will make it fade quicker and harder. Knowing this with my arm speed, I use a 174gr neutron Vanish as my go to distance driver when I need a long accurate shot. Flight numbers are correct.

i was very interested in trying out the vanish, now that i have one and have thrown it a lot i really like this disc for me and my power it is a backhand driver, especially on the holes that fade out to the left. even when i grip lock it the disc and goes out to the right it will always turn back in and leave me feeling impressed. even though it got away from me. it has found a nice new place in my bag. it took some getting used to. now that it's broke in i really love throwing the vanish

I really enjoy this disc, not as much for in-game, but just for hucking it in a field and watching it soar.  It was a little hard to control the line, which is why I probably won't trust it much on the course.  But boy, when I got it to take the right anny line, it was a beauty!!  It flips up high and just cruises on the anny line, before gently rolling back over into it's fade.  I was making awesome big S-Curve shots, which are just so fun to watch.  It's definitely a disc worth giving more time to figure out, but for now I'll have to leave it at 3 stars since I can't trust it in a competitive round...

Got this with a 1616 stamp and love the look of this disc. I took it out for some field testing and out for a round. I could throw it full power with a slight hyzer and get it to flip up and track consistanly to the rightbefore fadeding softly. If thrown flat with some air I would get a nice sweeping turnover. Even though I could get some nice lines out of it, it just was not consistant for me. I can achieve a longer more consistant turnover with my Fury, Therefore this has been added as wall art. I could see where people might like this disc, but it just was'nt for me.

I haven't thrown a lot of Axiom, so I was quite interested in trying out the new Vanish. I liked the feel of the disc and it held a nice, understable path without flipping over. The fade was a strong one, so I got a nice S-curve out of it.  I struggled to get much distance with the disc, but that may be because of my lack of experience with the Axiom feel in general. But I can see this being a nice understable disc for my fairway driver needs.

I don't like any of the wide rimmed drivers in the MVP line, and so wasn't expecting much from the Vanish. Perhaps the disc is a little softer, or domeyer, but whatever the reason I didn't find the Vanish to be uncomfortable like I find the 2.2cm MVP drivers, and I really like the flight path. For my power and at 4,500 elevation, I found my 172g Vanish to be stable, but not understable. When I would release it on an Anhyzer angle, it would hold that line for a long time, but it never flipped over uncontrollably on me.

The Vanish glides well and I had some throws that got excellent distance. I'd say the Vanish is slightly fater Insanity. Best of all, my bright neon yellow Vanish with a blue rim looks awesome.

This disc feels good in the hand with the grippy rim and the slick middle plastics, but this is also a relatively inconsistent disc. It feels good to go throw when you throw and flip up from the hyzer line and watch it fly strait.

I tried out the Vanish for the first time last night, and it is a nice addition to the Axiom family. It is pretty comfortable in the hand, and I was impressed with the flight. It is an understable disc for sure, but it was workable for me. I could lay it out on an anny line and it would pop up and hold straight for a long time before slowly fading out. I think this is a workable distance driver that Axiom throwers will enjoy using.
